  • What a beautiful record - must be a treasure to own, and great music! Thanks for posting and sharing all the info on Shep Fields. I grew up with my grandfather playing 78s, and have great memories of Shep Fields' orchestra, among other great bands of his day.

  • @barcalonga Thank you for your comment. I have a few more of his on the Bluebird label that I'll post soon. I appreciate you checking out my channel.

  • Awesome picture 78! I like the art on it, and the music is wonderful. =)

  • Wow~! Those picture discs have to be worth a coin or two!

...(this one reminds me of the Dick Van Dyke show)

'Look out for the ottoman!!' :0)

  • That music is so good. I really like reading the detailed information you post with your videos. You know your stuff thats for sure. I also see that you have an Orthophonic Credenza. I would like to have one but they are so rare here in Wisconsin and when they do surface they tend to be more pricey than my budget allows. I content myself with my single Victor VV-V1 machine. Gary

  • Thank you Gary! I love adding information where I can. I don't have have a Credenza. That one is a Arryola Superphonic Cremona from the early 1920's. It does look similar though, and I love the sound of it.

  • sexy stuff, thx !!!

  • Thanks!

  • Wow nice song and awesome record!

  • Thank you very much!

  • At least you didn't put a steel needle to that beautiful Vouge record.

  • No, I wouldn't want to do that with these records. I did make the mistake of doing that with one last year though. I'll only play music from the 1900's to the early 30's on my victrola's now. :-)

  • Lloyd, I was never a fan of Shep Fields, But I LOVE This one! He has a much better sound in this. I have a couple of his Bluebird records and thought it sounded more like Shep Fields DROWNING Rhythm. Thank You For Sharing & Changing My mind about Ol` Shep.

  • I'm glad you're now more of a fan of Shep's music.

  • This side was just as excellent as the first side!

  • Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed both sides.

  • Hi Lloyd: Really beautiful Vogue Picture Record... very nice, well performed tune. THANKS! Doug --

  • Thank you Doug! I appreciate it.

  • These are just works of art!!! Beautiful tune as well!

  • Thank you Tink! I love them for the art just as much as the songs that are on them. :-)
