I'm not Islamic but curiosity got the better of me. I had no idea about the effort and concentration you have demonstrated. I think you all are stunningly gorgeous! I've done makeup for Islamic practioners before, but never touched hijab (scarf?). There's so many pin types! How have you all figured this out?

Islamic law/rules about women are made for women's sake (not men's sake).There's nothing wrong to look pretty as long as it's still appropriate and not over doing it. In my opinion, what Amena did is still in the corridor of Islam and gives us inspirations to represent ourselves as muslimah even better.We do can look stylish and not break any law/rules at the same time.Jazakum-Allah-khoiroh!

@Amenakin nothing in the Qur'an says you have to wear hijab either. Doesn't mean we shouldn't. The whole point of the hijab is to cover our hair and make the men not have their eyes on us so basically we can't look appealing in anyway so arn't u contradicting your hijab by wearing makeup?

@neny3351 Of course it says in the Qur'an to wear Hijab; I'm not sure why you're fixated on makeup whilst not even acknowledging the ayah on hijab :o/ Have a look on my blog for the post I wrote recently about references to the hijab in the Qur'an. There are also ahadith referring to the covering of oneself. Alhamdullilah, I don't feel my hijab is contradicted; if you feel so, then I guess it's good for me that you're not the Judge, and my fate is with Allah subhaanahu wa ta'aala only. Thanks!

@GreekCypriotMuslima Sorry sister, I don't know how to make it crinkly. Perhaps if you keep twisting it until it twists upon itself, and then leaving it for ages. That's how I keep the crinkle in my crinkle scarves :o)
