No disrespect to him and his fan, but please rename this video as it takes alot more to become a Ustad. If we all use the title of Ustad out of respect to the singers we like than it will loss its meaning, and people like ustad Mohammad Hussain Sarahang will not be worthy of this title as anyone else can also be a Ustad by this standard

he is an ustaad of classical and medani ghaazal'z... all the singer's in peshawar respect him and his qaulities there is no composer or singer that dnt knw he is an ustaad...so i dnt knw what you is try to say??

@khanzQTkhanz the above ghazal has been sung in raag shivranji which is from the kaafi taat, although ahmad gul has done ok in singing the raag he hasn brought out the full beauty of the raag you can see clearly that he goes of sur when he plays the lower saptak (octave) of the raag, however it must be noted that pushto music is mainly based around raags like bhairvi, bhairav, darbari, pahadi, and yaman so you cant expect him to be a master in raags like shivranji and other raags from kaafi taat

@Malangsufi , i think you have to first compare like with like ustad sarahang was a legend of the patiala gharana he sang wonderfull taranas and his voice was well trained in gamaaks and taans ustad sarahang was more of a classical person i love his rendition of yar e man beya in raag darbari, ustad ahmad gul is more of a medani type person he has sung lovely ghazals in raags like yaman kalyan and raag bhairvi hes been in the ghazal game a long time and that can be seen in his great skill
