Are there any issues with delay on this product? If one were interested in multitrack recording would tracks match up? I've heard that there can be issues with that associated with USB interfaces, and that problems like that usually don't surface on a firewire interface.
The duet uses firewire and has a better sound quality (24-bit/96 kHz) especially the low-end of your recordings sounds better on the duet. On the other hand the 'apogee one' has an internal mic + it's small and portable. So if you want an audio-interface to capture ideas, then 'one' is the one for you
But if the sound quality is more important to you (and the price ain't) then the duet is the best choice.
You should also take into consideration that the duet is far more durable
Hi!!! this has Latency problems?

Open Back headphones while tracking vocals? Seems counterproductive. I realize it's just a demonstration. But still

@cheechyayo3 Duet? You mean 'One'. That's Apogee's Tripod made specially for the One. You can buy it for $19.95.

What are the advantages of the Duet compared to the One. (I like the One's price.) Why would one buy a One as opposed to a Duet other than the price?

@massif20022000 One doesn't support FireWire, which some models of MacBooks didn't either... Think it was the 2009 models or so.

sounds like a nice song thanks for sharing, im looking to buy the duet myself, but i do like the one as you can use its internal mic for quick ideas,
if you post the song or have it somewhere let me have the link,
thanks,
Nico.

Purchased the Apogee One a while ago and love it; wouldn't mind adding a Duet though... Kate Linne is a cutie!
