  • If you want your Vrod to put up the best numbers go to eagle Harley Davidson Lafayette, IN. They have won naturally aspirated Vrod drags for 4 years in a row if my facts are correct. They know what their doing period! I am purchasing my night rod from them in the spring.

  • I ride a 2007 V-Rod, love my mid-mount controls, After I modified the break pedal to fit the 2 into 1 Vans and Hines performance pipe, added super tuner I then had it dyno'd Yeah I love my VROD, she's bad ass, no more redlining at 9,000 rpm, but 11+ is nice ;-).. and hell who don't love the extra hp oh yeah....makes me twitch. Nice wheelie by the way too.

  • my v rod makes 220 rwhp on pump piss and is ridden on the road regularly ,and race gas its 259 at the wheel

  • Bottom line is V-Rods scream.

Whoever says they don't never rode one.

  • @tippycolfax Or ride a Triumph Rocket 3 ha!...

  • not sure what the power output is, but just to give you some real numbers:

I own a 2009 spec night rod, I have fitted a Power Commander, dyno tuned it, modified the air box, and the results are: estimated 138 crank horse power, with a definate 121 RWH as per the dyno sheet. With a standard turbo kit, this goes up to around 165 RWH, if you want more.....the sky's the limit. We have a company here in Australia that does a full engine rebuild with turbo kit that produced around 350 RWH

  • @jacksamboys only with custom cases can a revolution engine support 350 hp. 200 rwhp is bout max on stock cases with a brace. on a dyno shoutout i threw down more power than 4 trask turbo bikes on the same dyno same day

  • @jacksamboys heh bud can u give me the name of the place that does the v rod work

  • that thing probably put down about 145rwhp. Not bad for a harley. If they could cut their weight they'd be quick bikes with great low end torque.

  • @ohioguyshakes 165 rwhp.......with some tuning still needed to be done

  • nice numbers. I ride a Busa, but the V-rod is the only Harley I'd own. Not sure why ALL HD's aren't liquid cooled. Just look at the HP numbers of that thing stock. Somewhere around 105? That beats the 72 most air cooled 96's put down.

  • 125 hp at the crank, haven't looked at the dyno numbers for rwhp though; with proper tuning you should probably get around 110, maybe even push 115.

  • @ohioguyshakes - HD motors aren't liquid-cooled b/c all the old-schoolers would abandon HD in droves. lol. Besides, that what happens when you contract out your motor design to Porsche vs the old trusted HD V-Twin.

  • @schamberlin5150 gotta love american bikes still holds the record for the fastest bike ever built

  • @schamberlin5150 In response to what you said to ohioguyshakes, I'm sure regardless of weight you give quite a few sport bikes a scare.

  • @ohioguyshakes Or, get a Buell.

  • You know what you call a dyno video with no numbers or graphs?

    Stupid

  • That thundermax needs to hurry the hell up so that thing gets a little smoother.
