  • To OUR TROOPS - We stand behind you and believe in the mission for stability in Afghanistan and Iraq. Our hearts go along with our packages from Soldier's Angels and our supporters ride for you at home wit Patriots' Guard. We believe in each other. We believe in our country. We will not fail. We will not leave our brotheres behind. We will prove to our Troops that we stand beside them. With love, from Texas. Barbara. We Are Here. We Stand Proud. We pray for you EVERY DAY!

  • Let me say that I loved my daddy. He was a DI at Parris Island.

  • Solioquy ... Don't you DARE quote Albert Camus or Franz Kafka to me. I have read and studied my political and social sciences. I tend to stay with Ayn Rand and Atlas Shrugged. Don't preach to mel But I do believe in God and hope. I see it evidenced in every day in the place called Texas. We believe in each other. We believe in our country. We will not fail. We will not leave our brotheres behind. We will prove to our Troops that we stand beside them. With love, from Texas. Barbara.

  • My god... I have found my calling... I am going to blow up the Code Pink Headquarters! Someone tell me where they are located! LOL

  • Its pleasant that you work to keep your sons out of the military. Can you get the fathers of those who plant IEDs that kill American and Iraqi sons and daughters to make their sons stop too? That would be a bigger service to humanity.

We should stop fighting, as soon as the jihad is called off.

  • If the US were invaded, the US military would be on the front lines, defending the nation. Iraq was invaded, and the Iraqi people are the legitimate resistance to illegal occupation. If we bring the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan, they will stop dying there. US soldiers and Marines are dying for lies; they die so that corporations can make money.

  • While you bury you head in the sand, sitting safely in Dover, USA, our US Soldiers and Marines are in harms way protecting you and the Afghani and Iraqi people from the evils of people like Sadam, who had thousands of his countrymen tortured, raped, murdered and thrown in mass graves. Grow up and quit drinking the Kool-aid. If our soldiers are there for profit why do we not have one drop of oil or one dollar of repayment for the billions coming from our taxes to pay for the aid and support?

  • Iraqi being privatised to America Corporation

Iraqi Petrodollar was restored as soon as America to control

    Iraqi filled with DU

Bush wants them in permanent bases.

CIA brought Saddam to power. Hush! We write History... thank God, God judges us.

The list is huge, but it is safer to stay in the dark.

A government that doesn't care for it soldiers, won't care for other nations people.

Oh, your crocodile tears for the Iraqis doesn't cut it.

  • SoliloquyMono - Oh, Bite Me, you cave-dwelling Al Quaeda talking points spamming scum. I'm going to have to sic CarGuy on your pathetic arse. Go back to your cave and eat piggy dookie.

  • US soldiers and Marines are protecting corporations, like Halliburton, Bechtel (now gone from Iraq), and KBR; they are the cannon fodder to make money for Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, to name a few; they are the cheap labor that allows for massive war profiteering by Blackwater, CACI, and Dyncorp. These corporations are where all the money is going. See "Iraq for Sale." The oil stays in the ground to limit supply and keep the price of oil high...see Exxon's profits.

  • dahliaswasfi - you are full to the brim of far left conspiracy Kook-aid. Does Al Qeada send you your spam material? Jesus, get a life. Some corporation has to provide the services, technology and materials. I suppose you're a 'never landed on the moon' and the US Gov planned 911 conspiracy nut also. KBR, Halliburton, etc. are some of the only corps with the means to meet the contract requirements. Who would you prefer fill the contracts? China?

  • The White Man's Burden is a heavy one, indeed. For those following this thread, check out "The Ground Truth", "Iraq For Sale" and "The Oil Factor" for starters. As Mark Twain said, "the truth shall set you free, but first it will make you uncomfortable."

  • dahlias - Why are you so cynical as to wallow in such morose conspriracy beliefs? Yes, occurrences of graft, dishonesty and mismanagement are an unfortunate reality in business dealings. But does your level of contempt and distrust for your own government lead you to the belief they send our soldiers to die for private corp. gain? The majority the employees at those companies do honest, difficult and critically important work. Plz, jump off the high horse at the expense of our soldiers' morale.

  • Spamming?

All you could do was insult and not challenge any of my statement because they are facts.

Yet you suggest that America is there for justice and to help Iraqi people. The audacity some people have.

At least have the balls to live by the truth.

America is there for strategic positioning; mass murder for power/wealth. And those who die, do so for the benefit of a few.

  • SoliMonolog ... Did you address ONE SINGLE point of mine? Left-wing sedicious Kool-Aid drinkers always try to turn it on the opposing opinion by making a 90 turn in the question and then not addressing our points yourself. Get your talking points from a flea-infested cave in Syria? If you have "a pair" then that should be changed so as to not allow you to procreate. GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR COUNTRY! We've had our fill of slime-bag dirt scum extremists. We a locked and loaded and standing tall.

  • What points? You replied with nothing put insults to my post.

Your comments with dahliaswasfi have nothing to do with me.

My whole statement contradict your assertion that America is there to help the Iraqis. History shows that your post on why America is nothing but claptrap and shows either naivety or arrogance. I think that covered your post very well.

I didn't even go into details of banned weapons used, such as white phosphorous, napalm oops I mean MK-77 etc...

  • ...Impunity to contractorz, soldiers, Paul Bremer's edicts, disregard of Iraqi government etc.

But that would be facts. Who needs facts when you can get by with just emotion. It worked for the feminist (looney left) why not for war mongering right.

And like I said, a country that has treated it soldiers so badly in the past and will continue to do so while "patriots" (self-deceivers) continue to worship their leaders & flag instead of higher moral ground such as justice and truth.

  • So bury your head in the stand and hide behind patriotism like the cowards before you.

As to America, "your country": I am sure it didn't belong to you, it was American Indian's then Europeans took it. Really land belongs to no race.

And if you wish to continue to attack me personally knock your socks off. It does you no good, and makes your stance weak. So stand tall as filth spews from your mouth.

  • Soliloquy - are you confused? My comments with Dahlias have nothing to do with you? Then why did you reply to my reply to Dahlias? And WHAT history shows that my post post is WHAT???? It is not possible to converse with you because your sentences are not logical. Why don't you join Code Pink. You'd fit right in with the ditzies.

  • I assume you are galt1120?

Your first comment was open to anyone. You spoke utter BS about the reasons why US was in Iraq.

As to the other latter ones they where aimed specifically at Dahli and had nothing to do with the statement I made. However, you made excuses for the administration by blaming the corporations, that have immunity from prosecution and also have a history with many members of the administration.

    And you see no connections?

US help Iraqi people? What a vile joke.

  • Hey Soililoquy ... You ARE BS. First of all, follow the chain of conversation. Second, get a damned job and quit whining about the "corporations" and the "administration" and try contributing to the working society that pays your way, you damned cauldeled brat. You don't know Jack Shit about what runs this counntry and I personally think it would be better if you weren't in it. You are an ignorant punk ... period.

  • I am ignorant? Oh, that's rich coming from a guy who doesn't seem accept history nor reality.

Also what gets you so riled up that you have to turn to insults? Does your argument not have legs to stand on? Do you feel you resort to lowest form of dialog? Are you unable to go against my statement? Are any of them lies? ARE ANY OF THEM LIES?

If you wish to die for the benefit of a few then please do, just don't expect everyone else to jump on the same boat.

  • FYI: Though I don't think it is necessary but it might please you to some end, I am not American and never been in America.

  • Soliloquy - I am pleased to hear you are not an American and have never been here. Let's keep it that way. Many of your statements are twisted and partial truths, eg: Yes, America brough Sadam to power as a lesser of many evils and his evil and vile torture of the people caused the intervention by the US and Allied forces. Our only mistake was not staying until the situation was stabilized and supportable by the people. We aren't making that mistake again.

  • Partial truths?

Yours perceptions of reality is rather idealistic and in the realm of fantasy, where America is this benevolent force without any hidden motives, a god onto-itself. A "being" worthy of blind obedience.

I think it is best to leave it at that. Our perception of history and reality is different and only one is right.

  • Soliloquy - Idealism makes the wonderful America that we love and will put our lives on the line to protect. What other country so generously gives the trillions of dollars of aid to assist other countries in need? What have we "taken" from Afghanistan or Iraq? The US tax payers haven't been reimbursed for schools, hospitals, infrastructure we have provided. Yet, you don't respond regarding the attack on the US on 911 or Pearl Harbor, the US Cole, etc? Yet you have the only "right" opinion?

  • Colin Powell:

We have gone forth from our shores repeatedly over the last hundred years and we've done this as recently as the last year in Afghanistan and put wonderful young men and women at risk, many of whom have lost their lives, and we have asked for nothing except enough ground to bury them in, and otherwise we have returned home to seek our own, you know, to seek our own lives in peace, to live our own lives in peace.

  • Continued from Colin Powell:

"But there comes a time when soft power or talking with evil will not work where, unfortunately, hard power is the only thing that works."

  • The Navy SEAL Creed

In times of war and uncertainty there is a special breed of Warrior ready to answer our Nation's call.

A common man with uncommon desires forged by adversity he stands alongside America's finest Special Operation Forces to serve his Country, the American people, and protect their Way of Life.

    I am that Man!

  • My Trident is a symbol of honor and heritage bestowed upon me by the Heroes that have gone before and embodies the trust of those I am sworn to protect.

By wearing the Trident I accept the responsibility of my chosen profession and it is a privilege that I must earn every day.

  • Well I am happy that we ended this politely. I do not agree with your views & I think you are lost but I am sure you think the same of me.

I am neither left nor right. I have no such allegiance.

I believe the greatest honour is supporting truth even if it means going against your own and your country. Justice has no nation. This in my view is the sign of a man.

There is honour in serving a justice cause, but if it is just. But hell is paved with good intentions.

  • "The evil that is in the world almost always comes of ignorance, and good intentions may do as much harm as malevolence if they lack understanding"

    - Albert Camus

  • Hey Soliiquy - Bite me ... read my reply. Would you like to go Female y Mano on this? I'm sure you're a brain-dead Obamo follower.

Get a grip. Do you REALLY want to turn this country over totally to a no-OP? Go for your pride ... lose the country .... who cares when you're a Democrat?

  • Solioquy ... Please don't quote Albert Camus or Franz Kafka to me. I have studied political and social sciences. I tend to stay with Ayn Rand and Atlas Shrugged. Don't preach to me about intellectual beliefs. Yet, regardless of Ayn's athesim, we stand with God and hope. I see it evidenced in every day in the place called Texas. We believe in each other. We stand with our Country and our Troops. We Believe in those that are actually willing to put it on the line, not just spout talk like Obama.

  • Part 1

    galt1120,

I don't support Obama or McCain. It doesn't matter whom the people elect if the people are pathetic. The public is pathetic and apathetic and that is why our leaders are tyrants

As to charity do you know how that charity is being used? How the aid is tied with so many strings? And if it is about generosity then in terms of percentage in GDP, Saudi Arabia is the most generous of all nations. It whips the floor with Americas, and so does Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany...

  • Part 2

But if you just take the so called developed countries, USA is near the bottom if not last at 0.1%.

Statistics, who needs them when you are a feminist.

0.1% means for each dollar it gives .01 cent. Sweden gives over 100 times more. But America is more humble than them... WE ARE GENEROUS AND GREATEST.

BTW: Arrogance, Pride and Evil go hand in hand.

As of what you have taken from Afghanistan. Read "The Grand Chessboard" by Brzezinski and also the PNAC "Rebuilding American Defences".

  • Part 3

Now as to the hospitals, schools and other stuff: Does it somehow clear the injustice? Sorry we screwed you over, but here have some hospitals that don't even come close to the hospitals that you had before we destroyed them. And here are some second rate class schools, its not like you didn't had Universities and one of the worlds highest rates of doctors who now migrated out of the country thanks to the chaos that we help create.

  • Part4

But let us get back to the hospitals? Tell me, what are they like? Because if you know anything about it, which you don't, you would know that Iraq money to rebuild it has been mainly stolen by American Contractors. And the hospitals were a botch jobs. Hospitals not fit for a dying patient. And America was the one handling the money, and giving out the contracts to AMERICAN CONTRACTORS. But hush, it doesn't matter we are good.

    Ignorance is bliss.

  • Part5,

Do not pretend to care for Iraq as you don't seem to know much about how the money is being spent, what UNJUSTICE laws are being passed and pushed by AMERICA.

Peral Harbor? What the heck are you talking about? Do you know any history? And US Cole what has it got to do with Iraq? Are you a feminist? You seem very irrational.

  • Part6

    I have replied to yours.

Now tell me about the Bremer Edicts, America disregard for Iraqi Government wishes, protection of prosecution of American Contractors, protection of mercenaries, use of evil weapons, Iraq oil law (Western Theft?).

Please tell me if you think they are just?

I don't support the democrats. By nature I am conservative. But now, all parties are in the same bed. UK has been sold out to the EU; USA is being sold the NAC. EC came b4 the EU. Is the NAC b4 NAU?

  • Part A

    sherrb1158,

I did not intentionally quote Franz Kafka (never heard of him b4). It is an old proverb that has its roots much further back.

I think the left are self deceiving and hypocritical but I also think the same of the right. The (extreme) left is immoral and causes depravity, but the (extreme) right is amoral and are hypocrites as they only see the speck in their brothers eye. We are perfect why look in the mirror? "Hadji Girl" anyone? Is that funny?

  • Soldiers fed on pornography, violence, PROFANITY, hypocrisy, bigotry and HATE. And you expect be to believe that they care for other people lives?

This is preaching so PLEASE don't watch it if you are going to be offended.

    Paul Washer - Shocking Message

    watch?v=uuabITeO4l8

BOTH sides (extreme left & right) are repulsive and repugnant.

  • Would you like to have DU shells test in you neighbourhood? The whole of Iraq and Afghanistan is a testing ground. When the Right begins to stand up for others and really care, then come back and say that they are standing with God. When they know the history of our (US & UK) interventions in those countries and the REAL reasons behind them then come back to me. Not the land of the free but the land of Amnesia and ignorance. You may to stand beside God but you can't claim America does.

  • Many have claimed they have stood with God but I doubt God stood with them. Hitler, Iran-Iraq war. America in Nicaragua, Cambodia, Panama, Chilli, Iraq, Iran, Vietnam etc. A nation of peace that is always at war... 1984 anyone?

I have never heard of a war being started by leaders saying we are the bad guys & God is against us. Such honesty doesn't sit well with the public. The public is stupid but not vile. All wars are started with God is with us, but it doesn't mean it is true

  • Part E

Also I am not saying you or your community are bad people. You and your community are not evil, but neither were the German people. They were led like sheep and I see no difference in the way we are today.

  • Part f

As to Ayn Rand: Do you support Bush & hold her views? Do you support McCain, or is he the lesser of two evils? Shouldn't you be supporting someone like Ron Paul? I mean in terms of national policies his is the closet to hers. As to Iraq war, that can be argued. But the way laws are being passed in Iraq, without a doubt it is against her views. Iraq currently is a puppet regime, with America forcing its views. Iraqi people, poll after poll, want occupying army out, but it disregards them.

  • UK government doesn't care about the UK Soldiers. US doesn't care about its soldiers.

They don't do numbers, remember that quote? It was Colin Powell.

And do they look after them when they come back? Of course not. They try & save as much money as they can to spend on their corporations so their own shares can increase.

    vawatchdog . org

    watch?v=4pogXwY2TOo

This whole war is about GREED and Hegemony and public Ignorance of geopolitics.

  • Sorry I quoted wrong. It wasn't Collin Powell.

The quote was from Rumsfeld and it was something else.

The quote I wanted was "we don't do body counts" by General Tommy Franks.

It was said when asked about Iraqi deaths. You can apply it to US & UK soldiers also.

    THEY DON't CARE!

  • Soliloquy - Cont.'d - I don't know how you are able to respond with the amount of verbage you do, because they cut me off after two or so replies with suspiciously ironic text challenges, but I guess you are wired into the site. It becomes so arduous of a task to trim my words that my frustration wins over and I just let you have it, but I guess that's the plan. My main goat that you get out of that comment barrage is saying that the US doesn't care about our soldiers. I can't let that stand.

  • As a Father, I work hard to keep my sons from going into the military. It is hard because the bribes are so powerful. Fortunately, my sons understand that war is a crime. And for them to join the military would be to turn themselves into war criminals. They know I am a Veteran, both of the war & of the Peace movement, & so they understand more fully why I support them not going into the criminal military.

  • Paul8kangas - Your closing comment on your profile SAYS IT ALL! "Free Sirhan-Sirhan". You are one sick and sedicious terrorist and you should be brought before a court as a traitor. Unfortunately, you Communist maggots appear to control the country at this moment .. e.g. the Supreme Ct overruling State Rights in CA on Gay marriage. But we will rise up and restore the country that Jefferson, Adams and our founding fathers fought for, Again.

God Bless our US Soldiers, and Semper Fidelis.
