  • Nice shot!

  • Not sure why people watch then leave negative comments...why watch? I thought it was a good vid, great long shot by the seasoned hunter and good to see you use the the goat as well. Hope to see more of your hunting vids,

  • hunting is a sport i belive it is ok to hunt dears and goats but not dogs and loving animals etc etc

  • I useto be that goat, until i took an arrow to the knee

  • Thank you for posting this so I could see it. What a great trial and location. Wonderful and inspiring. Lived here all my life and have not done this but I am motivated by the calmness and serenity of moving though the Na Pali with a great potential out there. Not to mention the smoke meat!

  • I just went here to see the bow and arrow.

  • nice shooting dude

  • I understand hunting for survival and even sport to some extent. But I can't help but wonder if some deep rooted unquenchable ego trip and false sense of superiority is the reason people would hunt with a bow and arrow as opposed to a rifle. To each his/her own, I guess; education is costly afterall.

  • @aGoods Ha! yeah, maybe something like that. Do bowhunter's tend to have big trucks? ...Everybody is in it for different reasons. Some like the challenge of it, and tend to switch from gun to compound bow to traditional and the gratification or thrill of success ever greater (relatively) with each method. Others are looking to access more hunting opportunities where government mandates archery only (as is here).

  • @aGoods I recon there are quite a few bowhunters who fit into your description. Perhaps many of those who says stuff like "Be a real man and use a bow!"

  • thats mean

  • Damn, I'd love to shoot that old fucker with a bow & arrow and watch him rithe in pain. That's sport right? Justified. :)

  • @CoolGuy62093 We could tie him up for you too. Give you a comfortable couch to shoot from. Put on some sports. Get you a woman...

  • Comment removed

  • @CoolGuy62093 what, did you think the goats wouldn't be in pain if they died any other way? death is painful, accept it. remember that your ancestors gathered their food in this way

  • Another great vid nbarca!

  • Nice catch, human has to eat! understand?

  • WoW! You are so good... Right on the target...

  • GOOD HUNT BUDDY i love the sound of the twang of the arrow. do you need permits in HI for this / tags?

We don't have many goats here in CA except private properties

  • good job men...Looks like fun !! !!

  • i would hunt but ill feel bad for the animals i might thinking going one day but i have some cheap 40 doller bow thats a youth bow its a good beginner one

  • what type of bow and arrow would you use for hunting cuz its got to be powerful and what sort of price range

  • @Barmyllama I hunt with my martin saber i this same area...50 lb draw weight passes through the goats every time...the bow was around $300 for just the bow without sights, rest, quiver but it is a great boww..hope this helps..

  • DO A BARREL ROLL LOL

  • holy shit it just dropped.. i was like ..'no way hes gonna hit that shit' haha then bam

  • i agree with jojo quit complaining saying thats cruel you dont have to watch the video besides if no one hunted then deer and other animals would over populate and eat all the vegitation and after the eat all of that then they are out of food and deer dont like to go outside of about 1 mile from there den so the are screwed if we dont hunt them

  • Awesome shot. Keep up the good work!!

  • Too bad the goats can't shoot back.

    These bradahs wouldn't be smiling.

  • Nice shot:)

  • Great video, thanks for uploading! Anybody who thinks hunting is barbarick or sick really needs a reality check. If our ancestors weren't hunters we woulnd't be alive today. Not only is it good for our economy and ecology, many people rely on hunting for food and for a lifestyle.

  • killing goats is bad

  • guns are for bitches

  • great vid. thanks

  • theese goat TEAR up hawaiis already fragile ecosystems . its either we hunters take them home to feed our families .... or the state sends up choppers with automatics killing off herds at a time then leaving the carcasses to rot in the mountain. This is awsome free-range, steroid/cruelty free food eh good job guyz..... ALOHA

  • You should introduce tigers to the environtment to help out.

  • Your not the first to suggest such an idea. And sometimes wild dogs get established and decimate goat herds except near cliffs. The herds are already restricted to cliffs in accessable areas because of the ammount of hunting with dogs that goes on here.

  • @nbarca have u taken any with traditional bows?..great hunt bro..i will try next year

  • @Thom228 crazy man..lol.poachers would come from all over.Tigers are not always capable of living outside there environments.buts its possible..

  • @Thom228 Now you're cooking with gasoline.

  • the bow is high tick man i thought it wqas on of dose old acient bows just wood string and rock and arrow shift this is all steel and all tthat it hougth its old fashion

  • i suck with a bow lol i like my 22

  • nice Hoyt

  • Comment removed

  • I always feel bad for the animals, but it would only be a matter of time before they get killed by something worse, and there are many young to compensate the loss of one. So as bad as it seems, it still doesn't scratch the surface of the species' total population.

  • i think hunting with a gun wud be better if head shot quick painless death

  • I see there are some stupid cockers giving you the finger for killing those goats but they don't know how ya's do things in Hawaii.

  • Nic i just saw you on The Sportsman Channel! That looked like a awesome and challenging hunt! Would love to do it one day!

  • wat chanel is it.......

  • nice! way to get rid of some destructive introduced species! im gunna do my part in the war on feral hogs this year lol

  • kill da goats before they kill da native plants!!

  • poor goat but it is still hunting and goat is pretty good.

  • Hunting is, was, and always will be an enjoyable pastime, even when for subsistence. Just as the farmer enjoys farming, the hunter enjoys hunting. And the meat is delicious. Get over yourself.

  • mmmmmm goat yummy!

  • @nbarca I think you need to get over yourself. An enjoyable pasttime to barbaric inhuman people who enjoy blood spill for fun. What a blast.

  • "COCKSUCKER" that's what rajarajan32 IS!!!

  • nice bow!

  • If people dont like this, why do they look it up and watch it?

  • @mabro exactly if u dont like hunting why do you even watch the videos?i swear it makes no sense its like people dont have anything better to do than knock people down

  • @jojo664769 i agree

  • it must feel sweet killing something with a bow

  • Hey, fuck off.

  • these goats along with pigs and axis deer destroy hundreds of thousands of acres in hawaii buy eating everything in sight and not leaving anything for native wildlife, so far these invasive species have caused over 200 native hawaiian plants and animals to go extinct and when they eat everything they leave the land bare with red dirt which then erodes into the ocean causing harm to native fish and reefs, so do some research before you go spouting your mouth about shit you know nothing about

  • For whoever doesnt know this now u know! These guys eat EVERYTHING they kill and they are doing our island a favor. Pigs and Goats uncontrolled ruin our island and then it leads to erosion which kills our reefs which affect every fisherman that lives here.

Right on huntas for doing your part!

  • they eat it u twat!! il fucking eat you

  • Who's this god you speak of?

  • omfg gay is hunting and if u dont like it u should not hav looked it up on youtube

  • Solid Brah!!! Nice shot! Cook um up with some potatoes or smoke um!!!

  • heres the deal we have a right to hunt and were gonna do it so all you haters shut the fuck up and if you dont like hunting dont watch the videos. suck a goat dick or something

  • you guys should send this video into "cabela's memories in the field" on the outdoor channel , if they show your video you get a rifle cam and other cool stuff

  • I enjoyed watching that!! Good Stuff. Did you guys eat them or just take the skin???

  • goat hunt away!they are killing the rainforest, denuding the land.

  • 4:41 LOL He is in a bright yellow rain coat, wonder the goat didn't spot him out

  • because goats are one of the stupidest animals on this plant, I was hunting goats one time with a friend, and we were looking around when a big billy goat started making this weird hissing sound and looking at us, trying to get our attention... so we shot it

  • that made me laugh

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the laugh. Although, I agree with baldwinboy that goats can be relatively stupid animals, especially in comparison with deer and especially if they are not heavily hunted, the truth was that the goat didn't see the yellow rain coat because it was very dead.

  • THAT...WAS...AWESOME!!! Congrats, I wanna hunt in Hawaii!

  • them goats must of have tasted good,

    i love eating goat meat

  • Wow. So you value the life of an animal about the same as a persons? I have a question; What if the animals have no natural predators and are causing many plants and animals to go extinct? Would you then consider it okay for people to hunt and eat these animals as the only means for keeping relative balance in nature? Long term death, famine, and desertification is the other option due to overpopulation. So it it them morally okay to use them as a resource?

  • then why the fuck are you watching a video on it???

  • You...are...a..SICK...nutjob!!

  • killing is fun and animals taste good so quit your damn bitching you pussy

  • 2 words...... Screw & You!

  • ho unko how you wen go catch da goat...give'um kauai cookies or what?

  • you're the man Nicolai.. Hope everything's good.. shoots

  • real hunting is SOOOOO much better than video games

  • they skin roast and eat em

  • dud e what did you guts do with the goat after you killed it ?

  • pono bra, I do a lot of goat hunting on Maui

  • this is in the us its in hawaii on the island of kauai.btw who the fuck wants to sit on their ass all day playing a hunting game when u can get out and do the real thing, only a complete fat ass would wanna do that.

  • I totally agree; most hunting games suck anyway.

  • what broad heads do u use

  • You can experience the game Deer hunter...

Is better kill animals only in your PC, not in real.

  • If you played that game all day and never saw a single animal, would you still enjoy the game?

  • I play everyday and found animals in all hunts.

You can try too Dangerous Hunts 1 and 2.

  • I think its sad...

  • I totally agree! The high extinction rates in native floura and fauna caused in large part by overpopulations of introduced feral goats are very sad.

  • you said it right brah! Just means more food for us.

  • i like that one lol

  • GREAT SHOT NICE GOAT

  • good shots. heavy bastards to carry and they smell terrible. id like to try a bow but ill stick to .22 for now cos they spook easy down here

  • That second shot was a ripper. Your goats look great to hunt. The hill goats in Australia are alot more easily spooked.

  • YES GOOD QUICK KILLS LEAVE NO WOUNDED

  • where's the orange vests guys? good kills

  • they dont have same laws as the US

  • @Soldi3rOFvid3oS hawaii is in the us

  • Can you guys bowhunt those overpopulated wild chickens there?

  • Hahaha. Few people would try to stop you. I used to shoot chickens all the time for fun. I tried gutting one once and it had some kind of worms, which really freaked me out. The breast meat should be tough but good. Nowdays I usually find myself trying to preserve as much life as possible ...especially since I sure kill a lot. Shoot pigs, goats and deer, plant fruit trees, and save the native forest. The chickens fertilize the trees, so that's a plus. F-ing fighting cocks crow all night.

  • Can you guys bowhunt those overpopulated wild chickens there?

  • I just returned from Kauai. Saw a few goats from a chopper on tour that I took, some on Na Pali, some near the rim of Waimea Canyon. Wondered how anyone bowhunts there in such steep, rugged terrain. Obviously you guys can do it. Nice shooting too -- and from estimated distances under a thick tree canopy. Man, if you guys can bowhunt in that stuff, you can hunt mountain sheep and goats in the ruggedest country of the Rocky Mountain West. Nice video, boys!

    --River of No Return Veteran--

  • There is nothing to say against hunting - but these people don't know anyhing about the spirit of hunting - they have no respect for the animal - it looks like a raffle in the wood

  • It starts to feel like that after a while too. I guess they are so plentiful, so easy to shoot, and in a very real sense, ecological pests. I'll agree, even I have very little respect for goats and pigs, though I do have and show some. We don't practice all the time striving to perfect our kill shot. Over here, you can just go out with medium skill and have a high success rate. I appreciate your comment. It's like a raffle in the woods down here and we need to cull many of our herds.

  • Stupid animal lovers think their shit don't smell. Good shot, I'm from Kaua'i so know how you bruddas feel about outsiders telling you what is right. If the goats and pigs are not controlled, it will ruin the island.

  • These goats have been introduced and responsible for tearing up the landscape causing massive erosion. They also breed like crazy, with the wild pigs cause native plants to go extinct. Yeah, they make good teriyaki smoke meat.

  • Hunting should only be done with a kill shot. It is totaly not cool when the animal suffers.

  • ohh great hunting skills, , lol

what did the deer scare you too much.

you need to go for the kid lol

atleast try wild boar, you could punch the goat and knock it out . like you really need a weapon.

  • at least eat um

  • we do. I'm pretty sure the end of the video showed that

  • dude you live in hawaii? well Kauai? sweet

  • if you didnt hunt to eat go fuckyourself shitty nerds wasting your time killing innocent animals.

  • Goats were introduced to Kauai 200 years ago by explorers who wanted meat animals on the island. With no natural predators, the goat population exploded causing erosion and many other problems. The horrendous extinction of native Hawaiian plants and animals has been the legacy of these exotic introductions. Eighty-five percent of Hawaii's native birds are now extinct -- forever. Your post illustrates the awesome power of the Internet to amplify extraordinary ignorance through cyberspace.

  • it's actually 30% extinct, 30% endangered, 1% threatened, but who's counting

  • 85% i didn't know was dat much thats fucked up

  • nice shot on the black one... uphill

  • kill all goats =D

  • Stop murdering my wheat and corn.

  • niec shot.. good footage .. great video.. 5 stars

  • ho hanapaa you guys get'um. thats a killem.

  • Nice video and awesome shots. We actually came back from Na Pali coast yesterday, my legs are still hurting. We got 2 goats in Hanakoa Valley. Those 2 guys you were hunting with are masters. I would not even atempt to take that second shot.

  • finally. i know that hunting with a bow is not the same thing as actually putting yourself in a large amount of harm, which your not if you can aim, but it's better than taking out a rifle to hunt. yes, shooting an animal who's natural reaction to danger is to stand still and hope it's not noticed is such a way to prove your a man.

  • the bow is less acurate unless your a practical master at it, a lesser range, does less damage, so you need to get a lethal shot if you don't want them to run, i'd say that the arrow makes you a better man then a bullet. now, when you get down to using only your bare hands, that's jsut stupid. but not as cowardly as with a rifle a hundred feet away.

  • what a shot good hunters

  • awesome shot

  • finally, according to the TV channel 134 in the poland, the goat population has been decreased because of predators, eaters, and bow masters, but who cares for goats

  • Yeah bra, tell em about nothing going to waste, the errosion problem and over population of goats, better to eat them than poison them. Little sensative hippies dont belong on the top of the food chain. eat leaves sweetheart

  • PINOY ROCK ! ANG GALING MO KUPAL

  • pinoy rock... angmo kupal!

  • nice catch!!!

  • Very cool. Real hunters hunt with a bow and arrow, with more skill needed. Neato.

  • Nice.

  • Listen you two, if either of you were writing anything witty or remotely amusing, I'ld leave it. but any more of this shouting and childish crap and I'm just going to simply delete the comment, so don't bother.

  • MJED, Take a break and shut the fuck up. They are participating in a sport, nothing more, you dont have to open up your unknowledgable mouth to tell us things that are fuedal. Oh yeah, and Goats arent People, and you arent a goat. "Leave US goats alone!!!!!!" Get that through your head. Nice shot!

  • I guess food, recreation, and natural resource management is what it all boils down to. Somebody has to do it or else the goats will just multiply and lead to their destruction as well as every other living being in the area. I think we've gone over this before.

  • HEADSHOT!

  • if u ask me, all of us hunters and SCI should shoot at u.

  • it not a person, it's a goat. hunting has excisted since the beginning of life on earth, you "animal-friends" may want to think about that. how far away was the second goat you shot? it was a fine hit :)

  • Oh, I never shot nothing. I was just filming friends, but I think it was about... jeeze, it was so long ago I cant hardly even remember. 30 yards or more. He always shoots for the head to avoid wasting meat ;)

  • the whool decomposed and gave nurishment back to the land from which it came. What is your point?

  • if you dislike it that much then why are you even watching this?

  • ...well, look at the bright side. It's free range and organic

  • I'm a hunter and I hate you baby murderers.

  • Hey! Buddy, you're going to give vegans a bad name.

  • Very good shot. The more people from different cultures interested in hunting, the more land we will have to leave our children. Bravo!

  • Good shot man. Goat after first shot: Damn who threw that rock?

  • nice hunting and good shots

    :>

  • Great Stuff...

  • GOOD SHOT GUYS!

  • niec shot.. good footage .. great video.. 5 stars

  • Axis Deer, Goat, and of corse the Boar. Dont mess with the boars babys unless you have a .223 though, they get crazy. My buddy almost lost his dog to a pig last hunt. I lived Molokai for 10 years, choke goat brah. Aloha

  • i didnt know they had big game in hawaii

  • Like the guy before me mentioned, we have axis deer, feral pigs, and feral goats. We also have Black-tailed deer, impiorted from eastern Oregon, Mouflon sheep, feral sheep, mouflon-feral sheep hybreds, Feral cattle (in some places), wild turkey, 3 kinds of pheasants, 3 kinds of doves, three or more kinds of quail, 3 kinds of Franlkin, chukar and more... Hunting is generally year round for most places and animals, except the birds. Licenses and tags are cheep and pressure is low.

  • Extremely cool. I would have liked to see the cookout too.

  • Fucking great shot dude.

  • yeah i didn't go alone but we stayed at kalalua for like a week just eating the gwava and dry soup ... total shock coming back to town and haveing water just by turning a knob

  • great shot

  • i hiked this trail at night with 2 friends in 2004 ... i will never forget that ..... kalalua beach is one of the best beaches in the world

  • Ai, night walking is the best! I've been doing that since I was 16! Good times. Creepy when ur alone though

  • good eatin'

  • great vid.

  • i prolly wouldnt go hunting wild boar with a bow because they are known to kill and if you miss or it doesnt die your fucked

  • i'd do it but i'd make sure I had a big hunting knife on me in case i missed

  • just took a boat ride up the Na'pali coast.. it was amazing
