tice wasnt exactly a rocket scientist himself, in fact i view childress and tice equally, but i do actually miss his run as head coach. thats how sad we r rite now. granted peterson is on his way for rookie of the year, pro bowl, and many many more accomplishments (like the nfl single game rushing recored persay), so were good there, but we need a coach who is smart enuff 2 not start a QB with a BROKEN FINGER, STUPID!!!!!

It's disgusting that they fired Tice after a 9-7 win over the Bears that season. It just made it even worse that they handed the team to Childress. Smart move, now it looks like they'll finally accomplish their goal of being dead last in their division. Pretty soon they'll be at the bottom of the whole league.

Mike Tice has won a playoff game. Mike Tice's last season the Vikings were 9-7. Zigi Wilf spent millions upgrading the personnel and handed the team to Childress. Childress has now gone 7-13 since taking over a better team than Tice had. How is Childress a better coach?
