  • beautiful landscape and way more green open spaces than I expected.

  • Landed a bit fast...

  • Where is all the vodka, cigarettes, pay4wife stores and AK47s?!

    Boring much, Russia?!

  • Comment removed

  • No reverse thrust that is a major no no per FAA regulations. You need to apply reverse thrust to slow down the plane. This is why I will never ever step on an Aeroflot flight or in the smoky Moscow Airport.

  • @travelplus1 Dude... no reverser is very very very common this days... alot of heavies landing at Manchester never use reverser,at Gatwick heavies dont use reversers,at stanstedt... Reversers are used after what the pilots are comfy with... as long as the runway is long enough it have nothing to say, other than the pilots save the airline fuel use,and also saves the engines for beeing worn out earlier than necessary by not using the reverse thrust...

  • Aeroflot is an excellent choice for international travel. I highly recommend them for their very professional air crews and customer service. The smoothest handling of a jet I have ever experienced. Hat's off to the best pilots in the industry!!!

  • You dont need to use reverse thrust...Because the the runway is longenough..

  • Everyone claps because of the safety record of the airline. Just landing safely on a routine aeroflot flight warrants the same amount of clapping as would normally be displayed in an emergency landing

  • @Kingfordian22

Everyone claps because it's a Soviet Union custom. You know, like culture? Tradition? Jesus.

  • 1:48 : TIP: if you start clapping and continue claping evrybody will clap with you

  • is Russia democratic?? -thanks if reply

    i heard a Nokia booting up :P

  • @TechnoDude147 no,. Russia it's not democratic

  • is Russia democratic?? -thanks if reply

  • 767's have very slow flaps.. probably for a reason but my dad flys them for American Airlines and he never uses that much flaps.. pushes the aircraft down too much

  • 0:01-0:24 so slow flaps extending...

  • I bet the flight attendants are smoking hot!!! Wouldn't mind if Russia sent a few of their ladies over to work on U.S. carriers. It's the least they could do, we sent them a few airplanes so they should return the favor.

  • @seoceancrosser

No offense, but you sound like a pedophile working for the Sex Trade. I'm just sayin'.

  • Wow flaps 20! Short field?

  • @ns81

No. The runway length is 11,647 ft (3,550 m)

  • @gridzhio no runway can be that long, except for the one at edward afb that the shuttle uses

  • @SunriseHealthFoods

Look for Sheremetyevo airport in Wikipedia and you'll find out that it has 2 runways:

    07R/25L 12,139ft (3,700m) Concrete

    07L/25R 11,647ft (3,550m) Concrete

  • @SunriseHealthFoods

Every modern international airport have the same runway length. Try to google Heathrow or JFK and you'll find out many interesting things))

  • @gridzhio thats BS... lol... Heathrow: 09L/27R 3,901m/12,799ft Grooved Asphalt

    09R/27L3,660m/12,008ft Grooved asphalt! JFK: 4L/22R 11,351ft/3,460m Asphalt 4R/22L 8,400ft/2,560m Asphalt 13L/31R 10,000ft/3,048m Asphalt 13R/31L 14,572ft/4,423m Concrete! Munich 08L/26R and 08R/26L 4,000m 13,123ft Concrete! P C.d.G:08L/26R and 09R/27L = 4200m/13800ft 08R/26L and 09L/27R = 2700m/8858ft.. Big difference on runway length from airport to airport...

  • @ollo1982 It was my answer on that "no runway can be that long, except for the one at edward afb that the shuttle uses". I replied that every modern airport has approximately the same runway length as Edwards AFB.

  • @gridzhio Sorry... didnt understand that :/

  • @SunriseHealthFoods thats BS... lol... Heathrow: 09L/27R 3,901m/12,799ft Grooved Asphalt

    09R/27L3,660m/12,008ft Grooved asphalt! JFK: 4L/22R 11,351ft/3,460m Asphalt 4R/22L 8,400ft/2,560m Asphalt 13L/31R 10,000ft/3,048m Asphalt 13R/31L 14,572ft/4,423m Concrete! Pretty much every intl airport today,have from about 2000 metres to 4500metres...

  • Aeroflot is the worst airline in the world. DO NOT FLY AEROFLOT!!!

  • Aeroflot is just a horrible airline I've ever flew in my life, it had a so much crashes in airline history that you'll loose your counts.

  • i like tu154 more then 767

  • why did everyone clap at the end?

  • Aeroflot sucks ass cause of them i lost my luggage.

  • @MushyKillerIsBack you lost your luggage because of dumba@@ airport workers, not because of aeroflot, learn about the airport operations first than b@#$#

  • if the runway is long enough, longer than 10000ft maybe, no need reverse thrust, auto brake is enough

  • Landing 9.5/10

  • Whats the clapping for !?! wtf! lol nice landing

  • @LDP555 Probebly thankfull to be safely on the ground. lol j/k.... Having a father flying Delta for 30 years ive been on many flights on many airlines overseas and I noticed alot of European flights involved clapping after landing. I think its an appreciation clap instead of a relef clap. My dad even has clapping everynow and then on his flights.

  • @ryan33111 haha ok well i fly europe often cos i like in the uk

  • nice firm

  • How is the service with Aeroflot?

  • I think its pretty good better then in Lufthansa, Delta, AA, !!!

  • Just had four sectors (DUS-SVO-PEK-SVO-DUS) in Y class with them. I still don't understand why Aeroflot is so hated by many travellers. Especially the food why much better than an on BA, LH and even CX. And connecting at SVO (Terminal F) was a breeze.

The PEK-SVO on the return had a huge delay, but thanks to the efficient Aeroflot ground staff I managed it to get my flight to DUS.

Fare at 470 Euros was very competitive.

The only thing is that 767's don't have PTVs.

  • man even tho im from russia, (but live in canada) the service is horrible. russian boy is wrong aeroflot has WORSE service than lufthansa, but better than delta and AA. LUFTHANSA IS THE BEST BTW

  • What a fucking long runway. In oulu that plane... it would be in forrest right now.

  • how? you could do better?

  • Can you translate what the flight attendent was saying after touchdown!!!

  • Dear ladies and gentlemen, we've landed in Moscow Sheremetyevo airport Terminal 1. local time is 3.20pm. Please remain sitted while our plane is taxiing.

    Something like that (:

  • OK, thank you!!!

  • It's 5:30 pm not 3:30 pm .Perhaps!!!

  • ladies and gentlemen our plane has succesfully landed in moscow airport. we will make our way into terminal one, and the local time in moscow is

15:20. please do not unbucle your seatbelts until we have fully stopped and so on...

  • The Flaps sounds like someone whining..

  • @teddy96 Its the air raid siren

  • @teddy96 hydraulic system in the older 767s all sound like this, actually most hydraulic systems sound like that

  • lovin' the flap noise at the beginning, but there was reverse thrust used, probably just idle reverse thrust because of the legnth of the runway, that's why you couldn't hear it, it wasn't making much of an air ruch through the engines - that's the noise you hear.

  • It were the Flaps...

  • What's wrong with Americans?

Just allow people to enjoy the you tube videos and comment on them. Leave it at that, Okay, Buddy?

  • i love the sound of the gear coming down at the begining, sounds like something at the fairground lol

  • Quiet good landing. I quess long runway and autobrake 2 setting :)

  • people do that in europe, and many years ago people would do that

  • yes, its Aeroflot

  • It's a Russian custom. Very frequent in Eastern Europe.

  • А откуда летел?

  • I love aeroflot's A330!!!!

  • I'm not Russian but I think Aeroflot is a fine airline. Have you flown them before, do you have any reason to fear them other than prejudice?

  • @cosmicbullfight

I have not flown Aeroflot, either, but I would do so very willingly. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, they have updated their fleet. Most of the 40 year old Soviet designs are gone. Today, they fly modern Western and Russian planes.

Aeroflot proper (not any of the Baby Flots) has not has a fatal accident in over a decade.

From what I hear, service on board is comparable to Western flag carriers now. I see no reason not to fly Aeroflot when traveling to Eastern Europe.

  • @hzzlrp10 THATS NOTHING! MALEV HUNGARIAN HAS NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT!

  • @Born2FlyBoeing

Yes they have, though none recently. Malev had a string of fatal accidents in the 1970's.

The have not had any fatalities since then and that in itself is an enviable record.

  • @hzzlrp10 I know of one.

  • @cosmicbullfight I think that most don't want to fly with other foreign airlines because they don't feel safe, I'm not prejudice, I'd happily fly with any airline, weather it would the oldest Panam plane to the newest Qantas a380.. I feel safe..

  • @cosmicbullfight Aeroflot is a very nice company! They have very nice aircraft and very nice maintenance(on the last 10 years there have never crashed!

  • @dima78350 ohh,the aeroflot is the best when i was with my mom in that plane i was like mommy i am scared i wanna go home=( my mom was like sleeping nd snoreing and once my sister was coming to visit us in russia the plane was gonna crash but it dident

  • I Forget Easy Jet and FlyLOL.

  • That was a smooth uneventful landing, best kind.

  • Unfortunately until today me to partly have big doubt about the Aeroflot. Altough today on it,s western European routes Aeroflot will use mostly western-style jets, like the Airbus A320/A321, the brandnew A330, the Boeing 767-300 (see your video) and the Triple Seven. And at the other hand at least a little I can imagine these western-style jets would be as comfortable as for example Lufthansa or Air Berlin.

  • When the sheremetyevo 3 will be open ??? I know that this year but I have to know the month

    thankyou

  • pretty soon. maybe this summer!?

  • lot polish airlines is the way to go

  • YEAH!! Imagine being 11 flying on this peice of garbage, from Helsinki to Stockholm, thought we're gonna die! Only blew a "few" tires on the runway. Also chock full of spies offering me cigs?-HELP!! LOL-It's true

  • you can hear at 0:48 the alert cabin sound going off!!!!!

  • Пиздец, конечно у них гидравлика под ногами ходит во время посадок...

  • una mierda de aviones pixa

  • Where what this flight coming from? I noticed it was coming into SVO-1 and not 2..

  • Comment removed

  • FUck the American. Fuck Obama, stupid assholes

  • as it appears you aren't any better, than the person you responded to.

  • Very good video !!

  • where were you flying in from which country?

  • Excellent video!! (5/5!)

This is Larnaca airport,in Cyprus (Greece)!!

    watch?v=CCmcVFt8Y7c

Plus,in this video there is an aeroflot a319!

  • beautiful....makes me wanna cry..planes are so lovable

  • It makes me laugh when people clap when they land... What the hell are they expecting lol.

  • it's just a tradition -- especially for russians.

  • It's Aeroflot, man. I'd be cracking open the champagne and hugging the guy next to me.

  • Yeah yeah you wanna say that Aeroflot crashes lot??? Yeah what type dummiest person can say like that??? See ya in the Aeroflot's new 330-200

  • 127 accidents involving Aeroflot aircraft and 6,875 fatalities (plus 20 people killed on the ground), making an average of 54.13 fatalities per accident since 1953. ITS NOT A LOT??? EZBOLOR YOU ARE SO DUMB!!!

  • I see you took this article from Wikipedia. Please read it carefully and then complain. Most of accidents were from it's subsidiaries. And plus before 90's Aeroflot had only Soviet made aircrafts. You know that Soviet era aircrafts have very poor safety record except Il-96 and TU-204 family.

  • So first read carefully and then call me DUMB. Now Aeroflot has Airbus and Boeing fleet and their safety record is better from many airlines of the world. Read learn, read learn and read learn. See ya....

  • it's doesn't matter what fleet they got a330 or boeing 767. Aeroflot haven't got any experienced pilots on airbus or boeing. i think Aeroflot is still worst airline in the world :)

  • If they did not have any experienced pilots I think they would crash everyday like Indonesia in 90's. Do you have any knowledge or little bit known thing about aviation? I think no... Good luck my friend.

  • but you do? so good luck with your next flight with Aeroflot! ha ha...

  • Thanks I fly with Aeroflot three times a week I don't have anything wrong with it. Flown on TU-154, Il-96, B767-300ER, A321, A320 and A319. Cause I'm co-pilot of A321 of Aeroflot. Ha ha Looser doesn't know anything about the aviation so stop bullshit ok??? By the way what do you do for living? Cleaner or dishwasher???

  • Loser is you because you flying around the world with Aeroflot. I prefer British Airways, Air Canada. Singapore Airlines a380 is the best, so fuck you with your TU-154 or 767. Next time try some British Airways 747-400 or 777-200 and you will see deference! Good luck to you too.

  • British Airways also has the 767, A320, and A319.

Average age of Aeroflot fleet: 6.9 years

Average age of BA fleet: 11.4 years

    so, "loser is you!" :)

  • 35 years seems a bit iffy. Even the TU-154 is relatively new, and is still in production in some parts of the world. However, the TU-154 and IL-96 are being retired for the A330 and A350. And to be honest, I don't care which is better, and I am not Russian so it isn't "my" airline. Just my 2 cents

  • Yes I have flown with many airlines as a passenger. British airways is of course one of the best. But Russian Airlines stepped into market only in 1992. Before we had only Soviet made aircraft. government was strict so we could not do anything. All our power was targeted to military. 35 years is not true? This year we received brand new 5 A320, 3 A330-200. It cannot be 35 years. I think you are better in maths so sorry with wrong information.

  • Good say thank you

  • You are Co-Pilot of Aeroflot?? How come Mongolian guy working in Russian Airlines?? By company policy its not illegal that citizen of other country working in Aeroflot even Cabin crew, so fuck you CO-PILOT:))))

  • Wow wow we hare very rude person in here... If you don't believe me let's find out. Ask whatever question from me about A320 family? You know what? Mongolia has a very good relationship with Russia /before Soviet Union/. My mom is Russian so can I be the Russian citizen??? Haah... As I can see you are the most dummy person that I have met. Please don't reply any comments back. And plus don't mess with aviation without knowing anything.

  • I Do believe that you are boy from small village town which dream about pilot job, I'm exactly sure you just check a few things in internet about aviation and you think you are already pilot :) about Aeroflot rules of other citizen you can check Official Forum of Staff Members. Idiot.

  • So I'm a boy from small village? Hmmm.... Nice said. After retirement I dream to live in small village with small farm. But now I need to do lot things. You are from Canada I you don't know how are the conditions in poor country. But for me I love my job and nobody can not do anything against that, especially you. So please don't reply back I'm sick of you. And plus I hate to be rude and I hate more rude people.

  • It seems everyone is hating you here.

    Peace out.

  • But on a serious note, I don't think you're a pilot.

    Peace out.

  • OK I will not try to prove about my job. It is your thought and I will respect that. Good luck.

  • Thanks, you better do.

  • I was born in Latvia, i live in London UK, I'm just staying in Toronto for long holidays. I'm not rude at all, I just hate people who lie, anyway wish all the best in your future career.

  • It seems like you know nothing abouth aviation. AND, as our friend hrundel4440 mentioned, they should have given a 2nd thought BEFORE employing you.

    PEACE OUT.

  • OK it is your thought if your words could change my career I would really get mad to you but these are just words he he funny

  • I said what I gatta say. Soo....

  • Some people behave like plain assholes, and I can't cahnge that. You can keep on blabbing in here that you're a pilot for Aeroflot. It's very hard to believe you mate.

  • What are you talking about? I did not talk to you so please don't try to talk to me? Hey Pakistani I don't talk to dick heads ok? Please don't be stupid to reply back.

  • I was talking and referring to YOU (see comment below). Too bad my friend is not supporting me. :( Douchebag.

  • You're funny. Have you even been to the Middle East? You want to tell me Russians have better planes?

    Peace.

  • No worse than those 737 200's :) Plus I'm not gonna argue with you cause I like Middle East I like their PIA Airlines and other... and I think we both hate USA.

  • You just said you don't like Middle East planes (they don't produce planes). So I think you're confusing me.

  • I know they don't, well I say stuff... I like older airplanes because they have an engineer panel and pilots are more experienced, today pilots only land takeoff and everything else is auto...

  • lol!

  • Singapore airlines, Thai airways international, Air France, British airways, BMI, Emirates, Etihad, Air Canada, Cathay pacific, United Airlines, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Air China, Korean Air, Aeroflot, LOT Polish Airlines, Iberia, Air Berlin, KLM, Czech Airlines and some other small companies. That is my list how about yours?

  • British Airways, BMI, Air Canada, Quantas, American Airlines, Singapore Airlines, EVA Air, KLM, Finnair, AirBaltic, Airfrance, Ryanair, Air Transat, West Airways, Lufthansa, Spanair.

  • and SAS as well

  • Second that!

  • hi there i have a quiestion.. mm why does Aeroflot fly with boeings? why not just with tupolevs and ilushins??

  • Boeing is safer and more reliable

  • russian planes one of the best in the world

  • where did you take off from?

  • Anyone know why Aeroflot doesn't use reverse thrust?

  • Because you cannot hear/see it in this vid it doesn't mean that they don't use it ...

  • They don't though. Check out some videos when people film it from the outside. Plus ITS in the title. You would be able to hear it if you are sitting on the wing.

  • they have to save money :D

  • A E R O F L O T + R U S S I A 4EVER

  • that is because this isn't an international flight but it's coming from Vladivostok

  • its too strange that he turned right to domestic terminal but he must turn to left to international terminal

  • cool!

  • I love Aeroflot , the best!!!))) maybe it had bad past but it real good airline right now!!!)))

  • lol the clapping is all late...

  • FLAPS FTW

  • Haha correct :D

  • You are right! :D

  • Nice video. I have been on the JFK to SVO flight several times an it always feels great when the plane touches down and to know that you are finally in Russia.

  • I wonder what it feels like when the plane touches down at the Kennedy airport and you realize that you are FINALLY back from Russia :)))

  • A REALLY NICE VIDEO i didn't know that Aeroflot has a B767

  • people clap all the time /// I was flying on exact same plane just yesterday From Moscow to NY and ppl always clap ))

  • This is true. Whenever I fly from Heathrow to Moscow Domodedovo, the russians clap on landing.

Even if it was an awful landing!

  • I think the pilots were just trying to show off how good they are!!!!! There can't have been a lot of people or baggage?

    Where were you coming from?

  • what's the sound in the beginning? :O

  • Gear down and the flaps :)

  • i think that i am going to sit at the exact same seat! i am flying toronto-moscow aeroflot seat 24A

  • people are clapping because they are happy to be alive.

  • Smooth landing and flight!

  • Well, interesting comment on Aeroflot safety. I am not a complete fan. However, you have to understand that for the ENTIRE history of Russian aviation it was the ONLY airline moving 100 million people back and forth. Therefore, you have accumulate statistics for ALL american airlines and then compare it to Aeroflot. American fatalities come out at a much higher number this way. If you wanna be fair and accurate compare apples to apples.

  • lol he landed without the reverse!

  • russian tradition: clapping after landing " omg yay we are all alive!" that why they are all claping LOL
