wake up pakis just need to do sumfing for our country forget nawaz zardari or imran khan now we av to do sumfing to built our coutry plz get up nforward plz
he is good but he is not his father Amanat Ali had such a voice i dnt think v can ever get another Amanat Ali perhaps cuz he sang this song with more emotions
. His singing style has no artificiality, a voice of restless heart that starts from hearts and penetrates in depth of souls. his unique style was related to him only, he was starter of this style and it ended with him. although his family singers tried to keep this style but his originality was non copyable
I would like to express my humble opinion about Shafqat's performance. No doubt that the song is extremely melodious but Shafqat could not justify with the singing. The initial few verses which he sang were totally out of pitch. It seems that he was having some kind of short breath problem due to fatigue. Anyways,Shafqat I think this is not what other professional colleagues of yours expect this from some1 like you who belongs to a GHARANA. regards. Shehryar(Fringe Benefits).
every single time i listen to this song in shafqat's voice, it makes me cry alot by considering the circumstances about present pakistan. I just pray to Allah that the terrorism becomes extinct and peace spreads around the country klike a flower blossominf in a spring. Ameen
He has quite a following in India as well since this song is from a bollywood movie, which is why i asked the question. you are quite a typical idiot... :)
this was sung first time in 50's by Ustad Amanat..later on it was recorded for PTV ..and PTV never makes copies.coz, first they ve enough talent...2nd PTV is state icon.they cant do anything which may degrade them.anyway i can tell 100s of songs..which are copied from PAK Music..so if u dont know something dont make such statement which proves u r just a fool.take care bye
tauseef sahab.. why are you getting so emotional.. i think u didnt notice the "???" in the end.. i am also wondering and asking which bollywood movie... I know it is a Pakistani song and I am a proud Pakistani.. this was in reply to the comment by picstream. Go down and look for yourself.
just because of u i had to sign in to just tell u that sir this is Pakistani song and we didnt copy it from any bollywood movie, and u guys have one song mere pyarre wtaan by Manna dey but its different and this ong his dad sung it man and he asng aorund in 60 or 70's so plz dont make it copy of bollywood!!!
@kunzshah Use wikipedia at least. His father was Amanat Ali Khan, his brother was Asad amanat ali khan. There is a reason why his name is shafqat "AMANAT" ali khan and not shafqat "SALAMAT" ali khan.
@gakmal01 U R RIGHT, I MISTAKENLY WROTE SALAMAT ALI, JUST REALISED, AND I DON'T NEED TO USE WIKIPEDIA AS IT IS NOT THE MOST TRUSTED INFORMATION SOURCE AS EVERY ONE CAN WRITE ANYTHING.
HE MADE ME CRY ....LOVE YOU PAK.
