i loved how this show could address real problems in our society, show there was more than one side to it, without being shot down in flames for it. Though i hate to admit it i cried in the Alzheimers speach, laughed when the trophy fell off the balcony and get rlly annoyed with jerry when he went evil. I love how this show can make u feel towards the different subjects and i know im sad cos i never miss a rerun of this classic! ^-^

@pilkingtube I did not say I hate paying the licence fee, and I do not scream at the BBC. You are infering behaviour that I do not indulge in. If you compare the output of the BBC with a channel such as HBO, subscription based and no need for advertising, then the argument the BBC produces poor shows, makes bad commissioning decisions and squanders the immense resources provided by the licence fee is a very strong one.

No, they are very close friends, nothing more. You should watch this show, it's amazing. Brilliant writing, great acting, music and camera work. It has a lot of comedy but it's also a serious drama sometimes. And it speaks about important issues too.

AH! I don't even KNOW this show (sacrilege, I'm sure), but I totally have to watch it now!
