I know what you mean. I don't own a bike, but I have friends that let me use theirs, but it comes every so often, not all the time. So every time I ride a bike it's like the first time. I love it no matter what I'm on, a Ninja 250, CBR 600, or a sportster. One day I'll get one.

There's still snow here in Germany and not much warmer than 35°Fahrenheit...that's soooo bad...I have been waiting for March since last November when I signed up for riding lessons and now it's like that!!!!!!!!

I live in Canada, Northern Ontario. Took my bike out on monday, it was cold but it was the best feeling ever! Just taking it out and riding, going on the highway and having fun! then coming home to warm up :P

The cool feeling really doesn't go away does it? Perhaps when it's cold it's not as strong, but the sun comes out and bikes just make sense again.

is there much of a difference between the 2010 ninja 250 and the 2008 besides cosmetics? im definitely gonna get a ninja 250 for my first bike until i feel comfortable enough and get enough money for an r6.

As far as I know no difference. But yeah, you should start with a 250.

I think it's just the cold. I hate putting on rain gear and looking goofy and then it doesn't even rain. I guess that is the same feeling?

I think I've figured it out. If I'm not comfortable, I'm not enjoying myself as much. And of course, me hating the cold, when riding in the cold I am not comfortable, therefor I am not having a good time. I've got it down to a science now

Hey steelhorseclub, nice vid. I think everyone is going to start to go back out now and riding is NEVER old lol. I know I am riding tommorow . So the polar bear challenge must not have been to much of an incentive for anyone?!, although i'm in the northeast and i couldn't get out in the couple feet of snow :-(

yeah today was my first day back on the motorcycle since the winter, and i didn't feel the "cool-ness" until i hit an on-ramp and did a zero to 60 burst red-lining haha THEN i was real happy lol

It's all about the weather. I hate the cold so I stay inside most of the winter, but the past few days here in Ga. have been awsome! I went for a ride today in a pair of jeans and a hoodie. SWEET!
