I owned 7 Saab 900 Classic until now, all ran more than 300.000 km without bigger trouble. You can't kill that engine!!!! Take care of rust around driveshafts and doors inside, take care of oil leaks and gear-oil level (!). Earlier models have less corrosion (<84), later models have better brakes, optional ABS from 88 on.

If Turbo don't stop engine after hot run immediately not to interupt charger lubrifrication. Later chargers with water coolant are less sensitive.

1. Why is it when you have a c900 t16 you want a volvo 940 2.3t ?

2. why when you have a 940 2.3t do you desire a t16 ????

I know both cars are swedish and very similar but what do you think is better Saab or volvo. ???

turbo bricks internet forum has some very interesting info and compare these cars a lot, But i cant make my mind up after owning both.

IF any conclusion was to be had... Saab has the gorgeous looks, Volva has an extra ounce of safety

I've had two SAABs. An EMS and a 900T8. Both were great cars. There will never be another like a "classic" 900 Turbo. Just the best cars. Fast, comfortable, drive great and built like a tank.

I'm a bit suprised and curious at the same time, being almost neighbours in Holland and owning a black convertible and a GT. Just burned rubber on the highway, my wife in the convertible and me driving the GT. Gave me the same feeling as watching your movie.

i like the injecton model more than the 16 valve model cus i mean a injecton model is more classic than a 16 valve and then its easy to fix if you know what your doing

If I recall it was a 900 aero (non turbo) with really nice leather seats. He was offering it to me for £800 - it wasn't in the best of conditions but I was really up for getting it :(
