How to micro chip your dog

I like my Vet. But he charges me about $1200/yr for meds for my dogs that I found online from Canada for $650/year. So for handing me boxes of Revolution he wants to make at least $550 a year.

The chip does not work itself down into the muscle, it is under the skin, may migrate, but does not go into the muscle, which of course would be painful to the animal

You can have your dogs nails clipped professionally if you like paying for something you can easily do yourself.

@xxmrbloodxx and who do you think is a professional, a vet? Do you know how many times vets screw people over, way overcharge medications and treatments, and still make mistakes. There is nothing wrong with doing things youself to ensure the safety of your pet, and save a ton of money. I do all my own vaccines, worming (ivermectin & Pyrantel Pamoate), microchips, grooming etc. Plus I buy bulk packs of flea/tick preventative. I have 6 dogs and save thousands a year doing this myself!

@xxmrbloodxx These "stupid lady's" you are referring to aren't doing anything wrong.  Giving vaccines, and microchipping a puppy is NOT rocket science. The breeder is actually a Graduate of Escondido ROP Veterinary Assistant training, Graduate of Animal Behavior College, Certified AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen Dog Trainer / evaluator, American Red Cross Certified animal first aid / CPR insturstor. She knows what she is doing, and NOT harming the puppy.
