@SuperNumatic I once played Zyclon B Zombie for my band and they were annoyed. Of course that was the same reaction I got with Realin' in the Years...Damn Metal heads.
@SuperNumatic Fucking yes as opposed to the Melvins, Devo, the Velvet Underground, John Cage, and Nine Inch nails. The music acts that when you like them, you look "artistic" but people won't wanna kill you for playing.
@telekon01 Gary numan is also on my list of favorite artists that make having friends difficult. Next to Frank Zappa, Oingo Boingo, and Throbbing Gristle.
I have been looking for this song for years, I knew it was possibly a Gary Numan b-side. A friend played this to me one rainy sunday afternoon - back in 1980, and the tune always stuck with me through all these years. Thanks for sharing it.
Numan's influences are what I love, plus his music and style are intricated ( is that a word) throughout my favorite music today, I love you gary in a hetero way
Love this song, I remeber listening to it as a B-side to This Wreckage when I was about 7 years old. Have liked it ever since, thanks for putting this on, I think it is a classic. must have worn the record 7" smooth, listened to it that much.
when i first heard this song i thought it was the moonlight sonata

@SuperNumatic It's more of a when Zappa was playing guitar in surf rock bands or when Simon and Garfunkel were Tom and Jerry.

So beautiful, so sad. This song has so much heart into it, it's like it's breathing right in front of you. It can be sad, happy, beautiful, peaceful.
