  • I heard that she' always haD bad behavior, who the hell does she think she is going to the middle east, without covering herself, she thought she was special huhh. and by the way, i read in a article that an embassy workers wife said that she had an affair with her husband, and then slept with two CNN reporters and got them to fight in front of others..so we know she's a SKANK...

  • Women cant fucking stand in the middle of a square without being sexually assaulted? The egyptians that did this too her are fucking retards and should be hung, shot and run over. At the same time.

  • So, for "security reasons", she can cover a bombing but not a school opening? It's safer to cover the scene of a violent attack? What a liar

  • people like you follow the same fanatics that do those horrible atroscities you are worse than they are they will stand up and fight for what they belive in you are nothingand will always be nothing

  • a difference i went over there to that god-forsaken country (were they butcher their own women and children for no damn reason at all) with 45 men of my platoon only 3 were 30 they rest of us were 18-26 and out of 45 only 11 of us remain and they were all my firends and my brothers i held two of them while they bled to death in my arms but through all that al least we made a diffrenece we did!! and we stood for what is right none of you can say or even boast that you have done somthing great

  • @havock24ify If they butcher their women and children, then why there is millions of them?

How many innocent men, women and children did you and your brothers kill? How many innocent kids did you make orphans and how many women widows?

The only difference you made is making the world a worse place and causing pain to many.

You were only good enough to carry a gun and fight to make some vultures richer. You only followed orders like a slave and couldn't even think for yourself.

  • @havock24ify You are right. You have done something that changes the world, and i salute you for it. Although you are of different age, birth and nationality than me, i salute you as a brother.

  • so to all of you who don't have a clue as to what really happens overthere and who run me and my brothers and sisters that died overthere you are nothing because you stand for nothing because you don't know and you never will because me and men and women like me make sure you won't have to see that or have it done to somone you know or love and before any of you get self-rightoues with me ask your self this what have you ever done that really ment anything or sacrificed anything that made

  • me and my platoon went into a village and in that village was four pregnat women and the husbands asked our medic to check them to make sure they were ok they were they thanked us and we left later on into the next day we went back through the village all four women had been gutted and their babies thrown into a fire just because we helped them imagine how they felt towards us for that and imagine how we felt i was heartbroken i felt i was responsible for what happened to them

  • i'm a retierd veteren and i was in iraq and i fought in sader city i put up that damn wall to keep those people from killing each other i agree with lara but to all of you have not been overthere and seen what i have and done what i have and then proclaim to be subject matter experts to all that goes on over there is talking straight out of there ass and the truth is every time we help those people and show it on the news they do get killed or hurt

  • that cool watch?v=R02tbrZSO3I

  • This is one formidable lady

  • COSIGNING with CaptainVideo, real news might actually make someone smart.. currently, the "news" is used to brainwash the clowns and sheep into thinking that George Bush is an honest man and that Paris Hilton is better then you.

Bravo Lara! if only more journalists had the nerve to stand up and speak the truth, this world wouldn't be in such a mess.

  • great lara logan

  • Word up Logan?

  • According to IMDB, Logan got "promoted" to a desk job far away from Iraq!

    Way to go, CBS!

The CBS people said it was "in the works" for a long time!

Of course it was, they always have a contingency plan for people who speak TRUTH to power!

They have can't have the unfiltered truth being broadcast, now can they?

Good luck getting another candid interview with her, while she's still under contract with CBS!

  • I LOVE THIS WOMAN! Intelligent, beautiful and angry!

I would comment on the content of the video but she covered everything.

  • Anyone who would join the military to continue the Iraq lie is insane your serving for an administration/politicians who couldnt care less about you

  • She is a TRUE (South African) AMERICAN PATRIOT for speaking truth to power!

The "So-Called" Liberal Media & the Military-Industrial-Complex fascists that want perpetual war!

War is good for business, never mind the cost in human terms, they're a bunch of MONSTERS that got us in Iraq, taking advantage of the media-illiterate, easy-to-fool simpletons in America!

Sometimes called "Dittoheads", always gullible! "Onward to Iran", the idiots say!

We're in THEIR backyard and THEY'RE the problem??

  • "Security dictates everything in this country" - what else do you need to know, you putz? Sorry if that tidbit doesn't fill 24 hours of air time.

  • Bush drinking milk. Yeah, right. Lara Logan is right. Bush and his evil cronies are wrong. Deal with that, Hammer Head.

  • sorry sbrownn7, i misread your words. I was referring to Lara Logan.

  • "Almost invariably, my perception is that the sensationalistic value of these assessments is what provided the edge that you seek for self aggrandizement or to advance your individual quest for getting on the front page with your stories!" - General Ricardo Sanchez

  • well lori, out of your eight days and 192 hours in iraq how many hours did you spend on the streets? how much reconstruction has been accomplished? you may not have been allowed to visit those sites but you could have reported what is being done. you are a poor excuse as a journalist. i'll bet you spent all of your time hiding in your plush hotel suite within green zone.

  • so she's supposed to report how the Americans are "fighting the good fight"? That's what everyone else is doing, and it's about damned time someone is showing the ugliness that the American-led United Nations is causing in a country that they have no business in except for one thing:

Hopefully bringing down the price of american oil by about a dollar per gallon.

Don't get me wrong, I support the troops but not the reasons they were sent there.

  • It would appear that sbrownn7 was talking about Laura Ingrahm not Lara Logan, given that he mentions "8 days" and says "Lori"

  • right, i corrected myself and apologized already.

    thanks for piping in...

  • I was posting for everyone's benefit because I think everyone made the same mistake you did at first glance, including me, I wasn't trying to take you to task or something.

  • Bush must've shattered his glass of milk while watching this.

  • Damn I'd love to fuck her blind!!

  • addictedtowar . com

    - read the full book on-line, well researched, easy to read, easy to understand

    addictedtowar . com

  • CNN and FOX are evil

  • how can cnn consider themselves a real news source when they treat their fellow journalists like criminals. how can this interviewer sleep at night.

  • She chewed that talking head idiot

  • In response to those who don't know how the gov't works.

Read the actual bills that led to the war in iraq -

go to House Website, reference H.J. Res 114 which became Public Law No:107-243. The vote was 373 for and 156 against (6 cowards not voting).

    IT WAS NOT UNANIMOUS!

The War for America is LOST - Report IT!

  • When was this video aired? Laura Ingrahm has been to Iraq. I think it was 2 months ago if I'm not mistaken.

  • Very well done Lara.

  • Alonick, with all due respect. Better recheck what you wrote. We can only share in your group psychosis for so long before the truth must out. It's not only the Americans who are losing. We all lose. Take a good look at your military Commander in Chief, and that may explain why. The attack on Iraq will go down in history, and we'll make sure it does, as one of the most serious and gravest crimes ever committed in your nations history - the same one Hitler committed.

  • Are you fucking kidding me jazz? In 20 years Iraq will be a footnote in history. It is not one of the gravest crimes ever committed. Don't compare the invasion of Iraq to Hitler, because you aren't crying about those sudanis in the darfur. Wait, ethnic cleansing in the Sudan? Really? Nah, I'd rather blame America for Iraq.

  • Go ahead and inflate body counts, most of which are being caused by the Iraqis themselves, but somehow the blame always goes back to the US. There have been greater crimes that most people don't know about today. Remember 1950's Kenya? The British atrocities there? If such an atrocity like that has become a footnote, so will Iraq.

  • Your line of reasoning is: since there have been worse crimes in history (debatable) then this huge crime is OK. I suspect rather the opposite of "footnote" will occur, and is occurring. And, guess who's involved in the Sudan mess? Start your research with Chevron's discovery of oil in the Sudan, in 1978.

  • If you honestly believe that it is debatable that there are worse crimes in history than the invasion of Iraq, you either have an anti-american obsession, or you completely ignor history. And the fact that you blame US oil companies for the mess in the Sudan further proves that you are too illogical to argue with. I cannot change your opinions jazz, I can only point out that they are extremely biased, illogical, and ignorant of the history of this planet.

  • It's quite apparent things are getting worse out there, otherwise why is Bush desperately trying to get more troops out there? Don't shoot the messenger, for chrissakes. We need to know what's going on, what's gone wrong and then maybe we can make better decisions from here on.

  • The better decision was already made by the more intelligent of the species, way back in March 2003. Bush and his PNAC crowd wanted Armageddon and Planet of the Apes instead. What went wrong: incompetent leadership, lying to Congress, false reasons for war, insufficient troops, insufficient body armour, disbanding the Iraqi army, no bid contracts to Haliburton, indiscriminate killing of civilians, mischaracterization of the enemy. Bush's Dad also knew, which is why he didn't go into Baghdad.

  • Laura Ingraham, meet a real journalist.

  • That reporter really kicked ass. Intelligent, articulate, persuasive. Excellent job.

  • smart and pretty!

  • The thought stipid stuttering bitch comes to mind...

  • What Lara is doing, is lying basically. To put it in football terms, we're winning 35 to 0, but the press is focusing on some first downs the other team got. Like she says, we can't keep reporting on things that always happen, like good news. They want to report on new stuff like a Police station attack.

  • Oh yeah, and Laura Ingrim (sorry for the spelling) has been to Iraq numerous times and she doesn't just sit in the Green Zone. (BTW, I've been deployed there twice)

  • Alonick, does 35 to 0 mean that the U.S has wounded half a million iraqis and killed 70 thousand (i won't be perverse and remind you of the number of "first downs" amongst your friends), or does it just mean there's no body count, and you've shot 35x as much ammo ?

  • You're a study in denial, man.

  • Recall that John McCain recently tried your line of reasoning. I vote we all visit the market with Alonick. (Alonick can go first, just to show us how safe it really is.)

  • When trying to get your point across in a reply, ot's helpful to make sense. Just what the hell are you talking about?

  • Sorry mhesi, I saw something below and used the Reply link to your comment, instead of the Reply link to the comment below. Could be what we're all trying to get at now is: how can we make things better in Iraq, and the world? To do this, we have to understand, correctly, what went wrong, and what is going wrong.

  • The US invasion of Iraq was not a crime in my eyes. And I know for a fact that the US military does not condone the killing of civilians, and I can assure you that there were very few, if any indescriminate bombings. The real crime jazz, is what the Iraqis do to eachother. 90% of Iraqi deaths are by other Iraqis themselves. It's a shame that they get a chance to have the first democracy in their history. But the democracy they want is one that is all Sunni, or all Shia. Theirin lies the problem.

  • The Congress isn't stupid jazz. And their 535 members declared war on Iraq for a reason. While you and some other people can chalk it up to an oil conspiracy, there is a lot more to factor in that oil. When 535 people decide to go to war, there are going to be benevelont and malevolent reasons for the war. But with that large number of people, there is no way in hell it could ever be chalked up to a black and white "it's all about the oil" theory.

  • "The Congress isn't stupid jazz. And their 535 members declared war on Iraq for a reason."

The reason they voted as they did was that the polls at the time showed the populace favored intervention. Hillary voted yes. Now that the populace has come to its senses, she reverses her stance. But one correction. They did not declare war. Ron Paul introduced a bill for an up-or-down vote on declaring war, but it was not allowed to reach the floor.

  • No, they declared war because they thought that a pro American Iraqi democracy might be a good thing for both us and them in the region. What were we going to do after afghanistan? Just sit around, wait for another attack? Killing a few fleabags in Afghanistan certainly does not solve the problem. There needed to be a pro American place in the middle east, and that's what this war is about. The WMD's was just a cassus belli to sell to a naive and fickle public.

  • I'm in love... howard's hot.
