It still teaches greater things, like, not trusting everything that is supposed to be fact and questioning everything, even your own religion.
The thing with pastafarianism is the same with almost every religion, it teaches you good things, but there are always people that will read more out of it and start to do bad things, or use the sheer amount of followers to gain power.
