I'm 5"7 168 lbs not sure the per of my fat but I know i have to loose it and have not trained for a long time and now really determined to start, you think me focusing on my cardio in the mean time( 2-3 weeks cardio training ) is a good idea rather than start developing muscles like pumping up at the gym straight away?  I hope my quest makes sense

  • These are great... I'm getting wasted in 4th - 5th round of those at m current level of condition. In round 8, I simply can't accelerate any more.

  • Hey CK, do you ever puke doing this stuff, maybe when you were working to get back into shape after your injury? When I do a lot of sprint-type workouts, I almost always feel like I'm gonna puke. I think it may be related to a weak core... Any thoughts? Thanks.

  • @MDSRockets No, not personally. Although I've seen super cardio destroy some people. It's not your core though, it's your aerobic and anaerobic capacity. They only way to improve is to keep doing it. CK.

  • Hey Chris, just did this workout this morning...holy it killed me haha

    just wondering, how often i should be doing this? i'm thinking every morning would be harsh so i was thinking a day on, day off sort of thing for this. every sat, i'm still running the 3 miles. i'm aiming to get some slight definition in a month n a half. gonna start adding the scottsman 25s maybe after a week in till i get used to this.

    what do you think?

  • just did the krueger 100's for week 3 of OAM, and loved them. after the first two i could tell my ability to reaccelerate was all but gone. this was a great cardio my lungs were burning as much as my legs, probably didn't help that it was 49 degrees here in wisconsin when i ran. i am loving the OAM program Chris. you better start another program so i have something new to dominate when in am done!

  • AWESOME! Krueger 100's are super tough! There is def gonna be a new program... It'll probably be based on hitting big numbers in the most basic lifts and doing some speed work as well.

    PS: I just invented something called Krueger 55's, they are rediculous!

  • I've been watching your video's as to see the differences between my workout and yours,

    my workout is slightly different, here's one instance: our 3 cone drill is changed to star drill its about the same just more agility less cardio

    and another one is this, we do the same but with a tire behind us to make it quite a bit more difficult,

    the reason ours is changed up to be a little to make it a little more intense for football,

    and 4/5 of ur agi drills i've seen are the standard for football.

    In general, you want to do intervals that include running as fast as possible (probably over 15 miles per hour). Get the Heart of a Champion Program and start doing "4th Quarter Cardio" as well as Super Cardio I and II

  • You've gotta keep going and push through your barriers, whatever they are. It's like climbing a mountain, sure it's difficult along the way, but the view from the top is unbeatable. CK.

  • Chris one final question how important is ito to spike your insulin witha carb to your post workout protein shake. And Doesnt HIIT Strip of mucle

  • It's important to have some sugar after your workout. I recommend an orange, apple, or banana.

    Also, HIIT does not strip your body of muscle. Actually it develops your anaerobic conditioning so that your weight training sessions are more effective.

  • how many reps of this exercise do you perform in this workout and what is the max rest periord.

  • Run the length of the field 10 times. Rest period is how long it takes you to walk back to the line plus a brief pause (Should be 20 seconds or less).

  • You need to build muscle and burn fat. HIIT Cardio is very effective but you also need to train with free weights.

  • thanks really will try this and can i do this with after lifting weights or before or should i keep lifting one day and cardio another thanks and it really does make a great oppurtunity for freeze frame lol thanks

  • and the reason i ask is because everytime i do a sprints or any interval training after i have caught my breath i feel like i have done nothing and that i can go some more and this is why i want to do it along with lifting because i will usually stay about 2 hours at the gym and then do cardio so please let me know thanks

    I already run, I do 2-3 miles in slow motion, better than nothing.

    The Krueger 100's looks like something that will do wonders for stamina, i'll give it a shot.
