I found that book in a thrift store once, and was totally taken aback by it. It was so sick and twisted...little kittens being smashed by rocks and children getting their thumbs cut off with giant scissors. That's great that Tiger Lillies is doing it, I'd kill to see that show.

You know what's funny? I found a copy of a book of rhymes I liked as a child, some English rhymes, and reading through it I was surprised to find some rather morbid references. I never really noticed them when I was young, but now they are hilarious. Certainly not the kind of thing you find anymore, unfortunately.

I also saw the show in NYC, it was unforgettable, I loved it and my sister got hit on her knee by Conrad't thumb! (she's afraid of puppets)
