Was in England when i discovered this album which stucked myself somewhere so high ! ! ! it was only in my early thirties i really understood the meaning of it all, A big thank to you although, i do have this album, still enjoy listening to it on internet
all of you baby boomers are so f*#king lucky that you had the opportunity to grow up with this music. just sayin! so much more complex and enjoyable then the music that is made in my generation.
Fuck man, this is so sad. The fact that I'm 15, and this song talks about how you don't realize that you just missed 20 years of your life and your more tired and closer to death. This song makes me fear death, and the fact that it will happen someday feels unreal.
What if when lying in my deathbed I feel like my life is wasted? What will i think when I'm in my 50s and wish I could be this age again?
It sucks that I'm slowly wasting the best part of my life. I don't want it to end! D:
@Neffero I'm in the exact same position as you. Same age and everything. I have plans for the future, but right now I feel like I'm wasting my life away and there's just such a soul-crushing absence of reason. I know that the passage of time grows quicker as you age, and it scares the absolute shit out of me. Already years seem to go by much faster than they did when I was a younger kid.
I'm adapting to a schedule that makes me feel rested with only 2 hours of sleep, which kinda helps.
Even though I broke away from the life style. The drug's, the booze and shallow friendships. I still enjoy taking an occasional journey back to the music I grew up with.
I have ben clean and sober for 20 years. Longer than I drank and used.
This music has an even deeper meaning for me. Being a keyboard player, I can appreciate the sophistication and technicle expertise it took to produce. A true influence in the music that I am producing on my keyboards.
