  • umm..i jus wanna throw out there that i think alexandrine's r tha ugliest birds i have ever seen! haha im not tryin to be mean er anythin but i think there hideous haha o ya and english budgies too!:))

  • These birds are fine, if the so called 'abused one' was so scared I don't think he would approach the other one at the end... also he looks quite young which may explain the ruffled feathers

  • These are my Birds ...

    i Upload This Video ....

    now i tell you

Green Ringneck Name Nemo was 1 Year Old (starts Talking then)

Sun Conure named Pookey was 3 months old (i just Adopt it than)

Alexandrine named Feedo was 8 months old female and they all love each other ...my friend adopt sunconure ...ringneck flews away and took our heart with him...and Feedo is adopted by my brother in law and living a high standard life with Male Alexandrine Parrot named Eddie ..u can search his videos also

  • I don't think this video really needs anymore comments But I'm going to leave 1 more Some people in this world are totally clueless As you may find out by reading the comments Anybody with 2 eyes can see that bird is being picked on It's not a molt or a young bird you can tell it's not a young bird by its coloring it has it's adult color pattern younger birds have a washed out color to them with no distinct color patterns.this bird has it's adult colors. Some people are just clueless.

  • @1carpentrys haha adult coloring of a sun conure has tha yellow on tha wings but he still has all green which is diffinatley not adult coloring:)

  • the blue one doesn't like the yellow one even though the yellow one is trying his/her best to be pals, and the green one looks like he/she is about to umpire a fight! also that blue one's beak looks like it can tear the yellow one's balls off...if the yellow one is a male?

  • Thanks MissBoo

  • holllllly im sure if the bigger birds were plucking the little one she wouldnt let them be together i have a cockatiel and a ring neck and two budgies and they ALL get along great u ppl need to either watch it and comment nice or mind your own buiss and any one can see that is a baby!!!!!!! u have beautiful birds!!!!!

  • This sun conure is plucked and abused by the larger Ringneck parrots. He is very nervous and the owner should know better than to leave him in such a dangerous situation. Look at his plucked body, where he couldn't have even plucked himself, and watch his body language, while he trys to stay out of harms way from the other parrots. And this is while the other parrots are in a good MOOD! SHAME< SHAME

  • i dont think that bird likes the sun conure

  • watch the response video i posted

  • ohhh they are so cute. Im watching this with my Indian Ringneck Parrot Thomas and he cant figure out where all the birds are lol :)

  • Awww parrots are such a baby! LOL LOVE BIRDS!

  • Some people are just dumb & uncaring & arrogant...I would never put a Sun Conure in with the larger birds...is your next Video going to have a Canary in with 2 Macaws? & you are going to tell everyone they are great mates.....Right!! The little Sun Conure is stressed & will die. Stress kills birds very easily. If you are an expert watch the body language of the Sun Conure....perhaps you should get different pets - I would suggest a couple of Male Pit Bull Dogs they will sort you out!!!

  • Wow...experts really, I know nothing to little about any birds except to own ONE clean its cage, feed and interact with it...come on, even I KNEW that was a baby Sun Conure when I started watching the video...people certainly like to stick their noses where they don't belong. I am quite sure that if this person knew their bird was sick, or if one of the other birds was plucking the others' out then they wouldn't be together. Shut your pompous faces and try to look at the dates sometimes okay?

  • The so called bird experts here are hilarious. I can see that was a baby conure from the moment the video started. The feathers on the head are cute baby feathers =D

My quaker and my green cheek conure share a cage during the day. They're best friends. The conure is such a little dork though. He follows the quaker around like an annoying little brother haha. Anytime the quaker goes up up the conure isn't far behind.

  • Oh and for the record, i've personally been in the field, for 20yrs. And have both wild & domestic avian experience. And i've worked for both, my local Audubon Society chapter for many years. Educating summer camp children, about wild bird preservation & there habitats. And also, at my city museum, as our head avian docent. Educating summer camp children, about wild bird preservation & there habitats. So i'd like to believe, i know a "little bit" on the matter........

  • That actually looks like a Great Bill, not an Alexandrine. However, after i saw the tail, that confirmed it is an Alexandrine. Perhaps, with the largest beak, i've seen on an Alexandrine.

  • Poor pookey looks like he is being picked on and really stressed out. Suns are social birds, Pookey reaches out to you to get out of this situation but then you reward the bully bird with scritches. This is really confusing to pookey.

If the other birds won't accept Pookey then the only fair thing to do is to give Pookey to someone who will care for and love him. You will only end up with one feral bird if you keep him in this situation. It's cruel to keep him like this.

  • the one ringneck is quite large. how old is it?

  • hahaha nice comments i really love to see that people take interest ..that is a one year old video and in that video indian ringneck was senior sun conure was a baby chick of 3 months and alexendrine was also ...three of them are in very good health and physic right now

  • I Have an Indian Ringneck, Cockatiel & 3 Lovebirds.

And let me tell you straight you're birds especially the Sun concure & Alecandrine, are in very bad condition!!

What are you feeding them?? Fresh fruit and vegatbles should be given, e.g. grapes, apples, carrots, cooked peas etc.. This all helps the birds get Vitamins, and there feathers can look better.

Also May i suggest that you should get some Mite spray, This should help with the feathers. (But obviously only if they have mites).

  • technically parakeet is a very general term for several types of parrots INCLUDING conures.... Budgies are not the only "parakeet" but that is what is thought of as parakeet .... it is very rare to hear "scientist" refer to conures as such, most call them keets.... I personally don't prefer to use the term for my conures, causes too much confusiion

  • funny

  • thanks janiepurple ... i will upload some new videos now i have 1 Alexandrine pair and one Ringneck pair and they are so cute .. sun conure is adopted by my best friend

  • @SyberSnakeS Please show the new video with all of the birds being healthy. That would be GREAT!!!

  • @cheifEdwin bloody hell mate leave the guy alone theya re just young or molting. You the one who shouldnt own birds. By the way buetiful birds.

  • hi bro, hope ur doing good, do u have a new video of ur alexandrine? wanna se how it moulted, it has quit a huge beak. i have tree pair of alexandrines, but only one pair of them are the nepalese supspecies, the one with the biggest beak n head like urs.

    khodahafez

  • evrey body shut tha fuck up there his or hers birds not yours he can kepp them as het wants i agrre wuth firefrenzy and sybersnake the conure is just a baby and THEBURCTUZELTURK u shut tha fuck up i have an irn a sun a jenday a blue crown and evrey othe bird you wish you had and they dont fight ecxept the blue crown because he like the irn other than if yall dont like hit that red x instead of leaving nasty comments and crying at the computer screen that u want one

  • poor Sun Conure (

  • Sun Conure looks sick....

  • and for firefrenzy dont say uneducated things,,,,,,,,,conures and parakeets are completely different classes of parrots, different personalities, and different needs.

advice for anyone reading this is before getting a parrot, edumucate yourself well on them because they arent a fish in an aquarium.

  • I Got 1 of these Alexandrines and they are awesome :) But i wud never buy another because The other1 wud probbaly kill it :(:(

  • you should not own birds, you do not know how to take care of them

  • i am a bird lover and i know how to take care of them i have plenty of other parrots .. sun conure is in good health and this video is about his early age ..i know how to tame them how to feed them how to play with them .. and how to take them separate or together .. i dont need your stupid advices okay

  • for those who are saying that the sun conure is being scratched up by the bigger guy. if you look really close you can tell hes a baby....

  • u must watch my other videos in this video my sun conure was just 3 months old

  • the conure looks horrible, he is not molting. I have had birds my whole life and I have never had one look that bad. He is stressed and you do not seperate them you will end up loosing one.

  • It looks like he's just beginning his molt, all babies look horrible when they shed their feathers. I affectionately call my cockatiels "scruffy" when they go through their first molts.

  • The right one looks like it just woke up from bed...

  • Seperate them immediately.

It's obvious one of the larger ones (most likely the Alexandrine) had plucked the Conure.

Parrots do lose a lot of feathers when they molt, but not like THAT.

I have owned various birds all my life, as well as the rest of my family, and I can tell you right now they are not happy.

    No offense, just saying.

Sometimes no matter what you do they just aren't meant to be put together.

  • @ilovechristopher420 Totally agree, with what your saying. And i own an IRN myself, and you do NOT mix the "Ringneck species. Whether that's an; Indian Ringneck, African Ringneck, Alexandrine, or Great Bill if your fortunage enough to own that rare species. They do not even form "pair bonds" with each other, therefore how can they interact successfully, with a different species....? There very independant, as my IRN Keiko shows me everyday i've owned her, for the last 10yrs.

  • @ilovechristopher420 ABSOLUTELY CORRECT in your comments! SyberSnake has stated the birds are now seperated, thank goodness. Parrot owners should view this video to see signs of an abused bird, so they can recognize the signs in multiple bird homes. Also, birds do not have to be of different species to be abused.

  • that one on the right has a big ass head.. dont think he likes being petted either

  • looollll!! funny comment but true say

  • PBDF in sun conure????

  • The sunny has lost alot of feathers but it could have been plucked by it's siblings whilst being H/R. The alex still looks ok aside from the foot. The feathers on the back of it's head could have been plucked by another bird or from scruffing it up. Still looks like a partial moult to me.

  • Ouch yes broken foot...fetahers are fine though, my alex looks far worse than that when she's moulting, looks like she's been attacked its gross, she's beautiful at the moment, just came out of a moult. She is the same, she hates other birds but puts up with them cos she has to at work. My Green cheeked conure on the other hand LOVES birds and tries to befriend birds twice her size.

  • sorry, I have had a lot of birds and I have seen this reason used by people as moulting and this is not what it is, I have never had birds lose that many feathers and looking scraggy. I noticed the Conure has lost alot around the neck also, that is not moulting, take him to the drs.

  • Wow, those birds look bored and sick even... :(

  • True, The feathers are torn on some and a foot is definately broken.

  • They aren't sick, they're moulting. Birds often look bedragled and sorry looking when they're losing feathers. I know mine does.

  • I know a African grey that when he molts he has no tail, they might appear sick but it's just a natural process.

  • look at the alexaderines foot a toe its broken

  • are you sure dakidmark90 .. becoz i dont know it is broken or not but it may cause him some trouble in walking and gripping the cage can u please help me if i send you some pictures of my alexandrine

  • A foot is definately broken.

  • @dakidmark90 I had a Grey Cheek with two of those. It happens when they're young and get a toe stuck & panic trying to get it out. My bird did fine for 21 years with it.

  • Aw what a cute baby, how is the sun conure now?

  • Aww! they are sooo adorable. Feedo be a good birdy, play nice! :D

  • wow a baby! Isn't he cute!
