@OneMicOneMind Yeah man, did eh, but he doesn't go into much detail about, other than 'I'd be a fool not to'. Just kinda wondered whether there was any ... conflict there, in his thinking about it ... still don't know.
@oAzREZNoR It's an awesome piece of music. Interesting that you find it too slow. It felt about the right pace to me, but then again, I run about as often as Gingrich reads a book.
This pic sums aesop rock up perfectly for me. A guy with a mic pouring EVERYTHING into what hes doing with 2 people staring on who look like the just dont quite get it. Aesop rock is an insane genius
>_> in 1k ways to die I learned that theyre making illegal music that makes u high, i think this is the legal doseage... cuz im seeing ppl in pig costumes...
My favorite Aesop track since my homie put me on to him seems like forever ago i had a burned copy of float in my discman as a sophmore in high school... that's a trip.. 12 years ago now... fuck...
Aesop is on the comeback. I've got a lot of my friends into his music after I showed them stuff pre blockhead. People are starting to dig through the crates and find gems like this for everyone to enjoy.
My breathing gets harder for me when i hear this because i feel every inch of it. The words just flow and rock in my soul the way the moon tugs the ocean waves to form an enormous, synchronized, deep blue rythm
Take me to the basement, lets review the hearts ramifications. Take me to the basement. Lets remove the costume you escaped in. Hold up your legacies, I'll tell you which one is my favourite one.
Hey if you like this you should check out this new artist i just found!just type in "Pink Moon-Frooty Pebbles" They are awesome they make their beats and everything.PINKMOON IS AWESOME!!
I've been listening to Aesop Rock for a while now and loving him. Why on earth haven't i heard this song before. How can i have missed it? it's fucking brilliant.
This song is like being pulled under the river styx by a philosopher whilst hanging onto the robe of a fallen angel whose clinging onto an angel from heaven. all while high out of your mind. Most aestetic spitter to grace the third dimension
if youve never experienced heavy concepts you cant explain to ordinary people or if youve never dropped or munched then you most likely wont understand and will think his stuff is whack. haha
@Hoodyrulez ive "dropped" and "munched" but that isn't why i "get it" I dont think theres anything to get. he's not trying to feed you. if people think its whack its because they dont have any vocab or emotions.
@futchofdeth666 It's not from an official Aesop album. When I look it up it just says "compiliations and rarities" but I can assume (according to omegaotis's comment) it's from First Contact by the Opus.
@omegaotis it's featured on B-Sides and Rarities Volume 1 also, along with all kinds of tracks from other artists that AR collaborated with, but you got the origin right
