That was amazing! I played this music for all-county band and they sounded just like us! Only without their good singing and awesome ability to spray shtuff everywhere :(
Not to be a jerk but the entrance to the solo's the tromobone sounds like a dying cow crying for help and he sticks out really bad when everyone goes in but pretty good job band.
First slow and later faster, followed by when the Saints...how many Ive paraded with them in Argentina in the 80s and 90s as well in Europe..Never been in N.O. yet
God bless you all, from me,1st Grand Marshall in So America...MAX
Un corto paseo contigo...y cuantas veces lo he vivido,1ro lento luego mas rapido, seguido por Cuando los santos vienen marchando..una belleza...asi da gusto morirse...
we are playing that song for the Middle School Band. And i play the tuba (which i have to admitt often has very lame parts) this is a fun piece to play.
HAHAHAHA that sounds horrible....glad we had the music memorized....and then someone went up on the last bflat, a and missed it. feel like ive only been negative sorry...
If you've ever actually seen a true jazz funeral in real life in New Orleans you would actually recognize that the "terrible" sound is pretty accurate.
My high school is playing this for our concert season. I'm on Baritone and its fun. Although we havent put anything like that in...........yet

I played this song many years ago in an Honors Band and we actually had Jared Spears as the conductor. It was a fun time. Thanks for the memory.

Nice...not bad for a high school band...imagine what a higher level band could do with that!

You had fun because of the music you played. It sounds very nice from 1:14 till someone blows a tire at the 1:55 mark. Good times.

yeah i would have to agree, its that dissonance factor that adds depth to a song.
