i dont see how this doesnt prove why wanderlei was never good. When he fought complete nobodies in Japan he won and was called one of the best fighters in the world. However, every time he came to the UFC in his "prime" he lost. Vitor belfort- lost. Tito- lost. I just dont see how people considered him to be so good.

@dossantosftw well vitor was on steroids in the early ufc days. Tito basically layed and prayed on wanderlei and literally ran from wanderlei when he got tagged. The "cans" you speak of were damn good Sakuraba, Fujita(the first man to even stun fedor emelianeko), Rampage, Henderson, Mirko Cro Cop, Arona, Mezger, Kondo, Yoshida, Bisping. Learn some history about these guys, because you're obviously a new fan.

@dossantosftw Well Wanderlei had already been knokced out by Hendo and CroCop so his chin had diminished. And after Gonzaga knocked out CroCop, CroCop was never the same. Rampage came to the UFC and did fine and so did Hendo. And about the Pride fighters the same can be said of the Liddell, Ortiz and Couture who didnt beat anybody good twards the end of their careers. Except for liddell beating wanderlei.

I've been following Belfort since he was 19. he's the most furious fighter I've seen since. He doesn't hesitate, he just goes in & takes care of business. Had he not broken bones in his hands so many times from doing what he does, you would've seen the same thing in his later yrs. But if you noticed, he had to change his style because of it, and it costed him.
