No. Vernon would have searched the child out after Elvis' success. Jesse was stillborn, and to everyone's surprise, Elvis was born, they didn't know Gladys was carrying twins. They tried to have another child, but it never happened. When Elvis was 10, God communicated to Vernon and told him that Elvis will be all they need. God's hand was upon his life and Vernon knew this from that moment on.
So if he IS Elvis, why would he go to all that trouble to fake a death only to come back as someone else who not only looks similar to his former self, but sounds like it too?

I agree completely with suberbansusie. I know this is Elvis only his true fans would really know. I have been following John Cotner since I heard about him. Listening to these videos, comparing the pictures. It all makes sense. If he did go into hiding he had good reason. And I hope hes lived a fullfilled happy life. And that he was able to spend time with his old friends and family his daughter. I hope hes happy. We miss him and love him.
