haha, just rewatched this vid and realised i was the last person to comment on it 7 months ago....and guess what!!! He's coming to Manchester in two weeks and I have tickets!!! ARGH!!!!
He has caught on in the states with a lot of people. The problem is that everyone else is so caught up in crap like nickelback, creed, and daughtry and a curtain has been pulled over their eyes so they cant see what real music is supposed to be.Those talentless ass clown are only popular because tweens think they're "hot".The music is total garbage compared to what floats around out there. Its a shame that real talent can only take you so far and looks have to be the big factor. It pisses me off.
i really don't enjoy rock either, but i think it is still important to seek out the good in things like that.
for instance - as much as i hate to see some hunk dressed in leather prancing around on stage with a spiky guitar, this type of character is often a fairly decent guitarist and i appreciate the practice and skill that is needed (whether or not the music is shit)
@clueworm82 Totally agree man. We opened for a band not so long back, playing a lot of lap slide/acoustic upbeat tunes. Foot tapping feel good stuff. But it was for about 400 teens that were just blank faced. I think they appreciated the skill involved but the music didn't get past all the pop and "rock" bull that they are being fed all the time.
This footage is from the Good Spirit dvd. You can buy it from either his web page or at most of his concerts. I believe it was recorded at the Evermore Theatre in Sydney 2004.
Hey YidakiDave, you might remember me from such things as the forum on Xav's site :). I have this DVD but good work putting it on youtube, means I can watch it at work. Not to be picky, but it's the Enmore. haha. Great stuff mate.

It's a shame he hasn't caught on here in the states. I'd love to see him live. Looks like a great time, and great people too.
Thanks YidakiDave for all the great videos. Please keep posting!
