Probably due to their views on animal rights and vegetarianism. They seem to force it on people a bit. I personally don't have a problem with their views, but depending on how they present them, they can be a bit overbearing. Like the video for Ready ro Fall. Seemed a bit unnessicary to me.

Just a personal opinion, but I think people who don't eat meat, are just being homos. I won't express my whole argument, but honestly, if we didn't eat animals, such as cows, or chickens, they'd be overpopulated... No to mention, the rest of the world doesn't stop consuming slaughtered animals, just because Rise Against doesn't...it's a futile effort, and I think the only reason they actually openly advertise that they are vegetarian is to stand out.

How wud they be over populated? we wud just stop raising as many, there wud be no need for farms ect, so we wudnt feed and breed them to make more. and im sure many rise against fans have became vegitarian as an effect of listening to their music and the issues raised, so im sure they are happy with that. i mean i dout that rise against belive that one band can change the world, but they can still make a difference to many ppl this it is not a futile effort.

Best live preformance I've seen so far, by any and (but then again, I'm a huge Rise Against so fan, so it's not really objective). Way too many people in too small a room, so it was crammed, sweaty and people were pushing and pulling and moshing to get up front. Fallin down in those pits was no fun I tell you, but the band was awesome, even though two guitars broke down (1 broken string, dunno about Tim's). Got signed poster and t-shirt too :D
