  • Hello,I used polyurethane glue because the wood seems to be oily . I never worked with this wood before and polyurethane glue is a good choice in the situation.The top is solid and before clamping the seam with wood clamps the wood edge is wiped and cleaned with alcohol then whetted with water before the glue is applied. Polyurethane glue cures with moister.

  • How did you close the glue seam..or did you apply a veneer to the top? I missed that part..You used monkey glue not hide? any reason ..Thanks Dave
