I think I kinda know why they aren't continuing the series...its cause of of the voice actors for one of the characters on Avatar actually isn't alive anymore...his name is Maku and he played the voice of uncle (Iroh) So without him...its kinda hard to continue really.
the only thing i don't get is, they knew thwy wouldn't have enough money to make a 4th season, so why did they end book 3 with Zuco asking Ozai where his mother is? I mean, that is totally lame, they leave too many questions to end it there. personally, i think Zuco's mom should be on Whalle Tail Island in the Earth Kingdon, since the crew almost ended up going there from Ba Sing Se to find Apa in Book 2.

Well i think it should be about the creation of the new air nomads cos what will happen to the avatar from air nomads after aang . I think it should be like this. And maybe they should add som flashbacks from the past about the the avatars before aang not just Roku, Kyoshi,Kuruk and Yangchen other avatars too.

No. I want another Avatar, but it has to not be Aang, it will be in the future - hence the title "Avatar: THE LAST AIRBENDER" Besides, Aang is already a Master Airbender (those tattoos prove it - only masters have them); there is no reason for book four "AIR". They won't make book 4 sadly. That was the final show. And if there was book 4, they wouldn't have the gang help Zuko find his mom because he just will use his soldiers to help him. Also, people have been saying, "What happens with Zuko's mom? Does he find her?" Me and my friend figured about 8 different ways they could make a new season and or minisodes on the internet.
1. Have Zuko and Aang start new world. Side quests: Find out about Zuko's mother, Toph's parents, what the heck happened to jet?
2. The Avatar after Aang.
3. After Zuko's death, new firelord starts new war.
4. 4 Season's about the important Avatar's before Aang. (Yen-Chen, Koro, Roku, Kiyoshi)
5.... Do I really need to keep saying these? There's soooo many ways!!!!!

1. Onviously we need to know where is zuko's mom.
2. I would like to know whats up with Iroh and the spirit world. Since we know he's been there.
3. What about Koh? He did tell Aang they would meet again.
4. We never actually saw where Azula is.
5. What about the giant lionturtles, they seem to know a lot of things.
6. And of course the Air nomads. There has to be a few of them hiding.

i agree with petagreed they left a question open in "sozins comet" where is zukos mother i just hope to god its not like one of those shows where they go to different wworlds in search of her the "bending" and spirit world im ok with but anything past that is pretty much just cliche

well....... I hope there will be a new season. It will most likely be what this dude here said, cus the ending of s3 zuko asks his dad "where is my mother? " and if anyone agrees with me on this too..... i think aang may start traing people to become air benders and repopulate the air nomad population and bring back his people. if anyone agrees with me...... thanks! yes i am an avatar nerd.

i would have it be more like azula having a few elite benders in linke an army of 200 and she like takes out cities and crap like she did in ba sing se also the dai lee ould join her ive always dreamed and this probly sounds dumb but that the last shot is of katara as an a grandma telling the story of grandpa aang
