no, there is only a set number of enemies, all you need to do is take your time and take out the helicopter first, i did it on the broken part of the bridge so that i didn't get hit very much and then its just like the first half of the mission

I think it's stupid that you have to do the special ops missions on your own (or with only one friend), there are no friendly AI teammates helping you.

You hear Ghost's voice in the beginning of each SO mission, but that's it. It's stupid.

In missions where you play as TF141 (Or whatever the numbers is) you hear him say "Your halfway, nice shot." etc. but when your playin on US soil you hear the US Dude talking.
