  • you want A bye! hilarious :)

  • Union card, ha ha. Nothing from a guild, sorry. But we'll let it go because it makes the show. If you would give those guys in the props department a raise, these things wouldn't happen so much, eh? IATSE rules!

  • wouldn't it be smart to just grab both and put the one is his pocket

  • i love how with these "broken toaster" moments its always the first round panel that goes funny the second round one never does

  • the midget underneath musst have fallen asleep

  • "You want A?...'Bye!" :)

  • Matchgame had to be the funniest game show of all time!

  • LOL!

  • Well Handled!

  • It's Mr. Brandy Sniffner!

  • I always LOVED that crazy long thin microphone!

  • What did Richard say there towards the end?

  • I think he said, "This is a triple A (AAA) question?"

  • @ericandy88 No, he said "This is a Tripoli question" (a reference to an earlier gag in that episode).

  • In another episode, Gene noticed there was something wrong with one of the panellists' microphones, so he asked someone backstage to get him a screwdriver to fix it. He seemed to do a pretty good job with it.

  • Classic! Just pure classic!

  • Don't stop tape or do any of those goofy things! LOL!

    I love Gene!

  • "Get me a beer while you're down there..."

  • "I've seen better-produced shows at the Kiwanis Club!" :)

  • I agree with you, ericandy.

I never watch recent game shows because they're too serious and filled with tension. They're all dark with intimidating music. It's a GAME and it's a SHOW. It's not supposed to give you a panic attack.

These little mess-ups are exactly what I love about seventies game shows. It's funny, and it's like, no pressure. Everyone laughs and everyone moves on.

  • This is proof why game shows are too damn serious these days. Today, they definitely would stop tape & the viewers would never see mistakes like this.

How come game shows these days have to look & move so perfectly? So mechanical & lifeless!

  • "bye!" haha! that's awsome

  • Wow.. Gene came from an age in broadcasting where you had to know everything from writing to producing to engineering. And, he could still be hilarious.

  • Gene dropped down one to many!!

  • I also LOVE this clip, thanks for posting SuperPAC!
