  • shouldnt that dog died?

  • Yeah thats fine kid but...WHAT ABOUT BOOMER?!!? "BOOMER...WILL LIVE"

  • you know someone is a real bad guy when he hits a dog

  • batman beyond was hella awesome but why didnt they make a justice league beyond?

  • terry is a Terrible shot

  • Hellz yeah Ace.

  • Batman with a rifle just looks....awkward

  • OMG, just realized he looks like Plasmus from Teen Titans when he mutates from the waste! Ewwww. >_>

  • OMG, this episode scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. Well, most of the Batman Beyond episodes were pretty dark, but I think the scariest regular episode out of any non-DVD Batman episode was that one with the Scarecrow in the original Animated series with the fear gas. Scarecrow in general scared me, the creepy freak. >.>

  • this is like something out of resident evil or silent hill or some other freak game...no wonder this show got cancelled...lol...too violent for kids no doubt xD ( I still miss it)

  • ITS GOING LAMBANT!!!

  • @RaxxiusGaming Bruce we're being overrun with lambent splicers! BRING THE HAMMER ONLINE! >:(

  • @KingZoritaGorington1 bruce we havent invented that yet! SHIT!

  • Comment removed

  • 1:10 John Carpenter's The Thing noise is in the background.

  • I watched this episode on acid once and it freaked me the fuck out.

  • NEED MOAR ADAM

  • Messing with batman... You go to jail.

Managing to hurt the batman... you go to jail for a long time.

You mess with his dog? You die!

  • How he still lives is beyond me...

  • so at 1:25 ... anyone else thinking Akira?

  • @Omes299 Look around you, buddy, you're not the only one! XDD

And yeah, it does reminding of Akira, even though Tetsou turned into a giant, gross bulb and that villian here? Some sort of an ugly chimera =/

  • looks like regigas

  • Hey Come on Now folks if this was actually Resident Evil the dude would have an eyeball growing out of his ass. And as for Akira, the entire mutation sequence does sort of look like the animators copied it word for word except instead of becoming a giant baby he becomes a.....Thingy.

  • ....and that's how Equestria was made.

  • and that's how the Nigel Thornberry monster was defeated

  • is it just me or do...I suppose next generation heroes rely on speed a lot more? look at this batman and Spiderman 2099

  • Resident Evil comes to a show.

  • lol Terry... You gave him an upgrade and still wonder why you get your ass kicked so hard.

  • its funny that alot of the sound effects for his beast form are from The Thing (the original) and he even morphs and mutates kind of like the thing

  • The dislikes are cat people

  • Help me, Kaneda!

  • i'm trying to figure out who this guy is supposed to be. i mean, you look at a lot of Terry's 'original' villains and they're really updated old villains. i mean, inque was obviously clay face, Blight was Terry's Joker( since he indirectly created him, just like Bruce indirectly created Joker) that Chapel guy from the slappers episode could be an update to Bane, spell binder could be considered scarecrow, stalker kind of looked like zsaz and so on. so, who is this guy? Maybe an update to manbat?

  • @TheSonofstark Mostly likely Manbat, since he messed around with animal/human genetics like this guy did. And he did turn Terry into a Manbat earlier in the episode.

  • This guy reminds me of Slither.

  • Tetsuo!!!!

  • @HolyBoredom kaneda!!!!!

  • You know how some animals get their name from how they sound? He can be "Graaaaggghrereerarg!"

  • But the dog was covered in gasoline! No Two-Face ripoff they'd probably call Cerberus?

  • FEV is a terrible drug.

  • Terry was a weird Batman he didn't mind killing people...

  • @jerrycho13 The only dude he really killed directly was Mr. Fixx in the first episode; the rest of them are indirect kills or he was unable to save a villain due to whatever reason. Bruce once uppercutted the Joker off of a moving train into a smokestack, so like father, like son, XD

  • Resident Evil

  • @KennethMoreland pretty much

  • Let's see, based on the visible mutations, it looks like he had--- Eagle (head) Snake (Constrictor) Crab (left arm) some Elephant or Tortoise (left leg) Spider (eyes) ? ? ? ?
  • KANEDAAAAAAA

  • one of the most badass and disturbing fight scenes.

  • @AceofDlamonds check out 'Akira' its just like this

  • so what combination of animals is he at 0:23 and 1:54?

  • Almost looks like Plasmid from Teen Titans.

  • KANEDAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • @shockraid1 TETSUOOOOOO!

  • Kinda like Akira.

  • Comment removed

  • Blade 1 anybody? Near the end when Blade is fighting Frost and he's hitting him with all those vampire expansion vials until Frost finally explodes?! Maybe this is before your time lol.

  • Final Fantasy end boss.

  • Ugh. "Shimera?" Really?

  • 1:25 thats some akira shit

  • it turned into michelle 0bama's true form!

  • Terry and Hooch?

  • I'm surprised he lived long enough to get blown up; surely a transformation like that would kill anyone on shock factor alone. Makes for a good monster though.

  • @Kingpin1880 Maybe he was running on instinct rather than thought at that point , he did stop talking altogether after a while. That and the trying to eat Batman part.

  • This is on a very thin line between horrible and distasteful. But I guess it's hardcore anyway.

  • Don't touch my dog,

  • AAAAAKKKKUUUURRRRRRRRIIIIAAAAAAAA!

  • This reminds me of Resident Evil. Only then, I was for my life trying NOT to mutate the freakshow even further.

  • Isnt he pronouncing it wrong, a SH instead of a K sound

  • Ace the Bat-Hound a campy superhero sidekick

Ace the Guard Dog: just as badass as the man who owns him

  • "Gah! SOmeone help! This dog is biting my new penis!"

  • this reminds me of john carpenters The ThING

  • hey i uset to watch this has a kid *in coach's voice*

  • KANEDAAAA... I mean BATMAAAAN!!

  • @nocturnGER TETSUUOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know what was more poorly thought out, Couvier turning himself into that snake monster (Turning into a snake never helps, ask Jafar) or Terry turning him into a hulking behemoth.

  • He's ok now.

  • But where are the big daddy?

    (I know, I know)

  • Bruce - Ninja. In andc out with minimal damage.

Terry - Everything around him explodes. I can't remember a single episode where a building or train explodes.

  • It bugs me how they mispronounce Chimera.

  • Just like Killer Croc?

  • @Nibbelpippel Killer Croc had a birth defect that gave him the scales and large size

  • Poor Ace :(.

  • grizzly

  • That was a dart gun loaded with anti-splice cure guns, it's what he used to return that cat-like girl, minotaur like guy, and lizard like boy back into the humans, the onces being loaded on the cop paddy wagon. As for the Naga change the lead bad guy did, WOW! If I had be a Splicer, I would want to be like the Birdmen warriors from the old Sega Shining Force Games, my BB OC was such a splicer, but a good one, who was deaf and blind and got spliced, for curative reasons, but it really backfired.

  • Ace is the best boy.

  • Quetzalcoatl? maybe Cthulhu? anyway, how the fuck is that dog still alive? It gets tossed around more than a football in the Superbowl.

  • And terry doesnt even has the wits...

  • batman never uses a Gun goddammit...

  • @MrMuzhashi this is not a gun!

  • Nothing antibiotics won't cure...

  • KAAAAANEEEDAAAA!

    SPLIIIISSSSCCAAAAA!

  • I think we've found the newest Jersey Shore member.

  • Man, worst freakin batman ever. Used a gun, got his ass kicked, then proceeded to kill someone. Pretty much against everything the first batman was for.

  • @wahttehfuk 1: The gun wasn't loaded with lethal rounds. Batman has used guns for various things before.

2: Bruce got his ass kicked several times. Terry still got out of there.

3: He didn't intentionally kill the guy, although Bruce has accidentally caused deaths before.

You should maybe learn about a character before your criticise him.

  • its pronounced "Kaimera" not "Shimera"

  • That's the most severe case of Herpes I've ever seen.

  • that poor dog gets beaten up more then anything else

  • Cuvier might know about animals but he knows nothing about mythical creatures. He turned himself into a Naga, not a Chimera.

  • @vjpearce

"Chimera" actually refers to creatures that are a combination of more than one. Actual scientists sometimes create chimera cells for research purposes.

  • @syafiqjabar I know they do, but I'm just pointing out that that creature he became is a Naga, a mythical creature which is half snake half human, which are also shown in the show Monster rancher.

  • @vjpearce Except he is not purely half-human half snake. He's part snake, human, and several different other animals like a bird or mammal.

  • dog power!

  • Genetic engineering, also called genetic modification, is the direct human manipulation of an organism's genome using modern DNA technology. It involves the introduction of foreign DNA or synthetic genes into the organism of interest. The introduction of new DNA does not require the use of classical genetic methods, however traditional breeding methods are typically used for the propagation of recombinant organisms.

  • An organism that is generated through the introduction of recombinant DNA is considered to be a genetically modified organism. The first organisms genetically engineered were bacteria in 1973 and then mice in 1974. Insulin-producing bacteria were commercialized in 1982 and genetically modified food has been sold since 1994.

  • The most common form of genetic engineering involves the insertion of new genetic material at an unspecified location in the host genome. This is accomplished by isolating and copying the genetic material of interest using molecular cloning methods to generate a DNA sequence containing the required genetic elements for expression, and then inserting this construct into the host organism.

  • Other forms of genetic engineering include gene targeting and knocking out specific genes via engineered nucleases such as zinc finger nucleases or engineered homing endonucleases.

  • Genetic engineering techniques have been applied in numerous fields including research, biotechnology, and medicine. Medicines such as insulin and human growth hormone are now produced in bacteria, experimental mice such as the oncomouse and the knockout mouse are being used for research purposes and insect resistant and/or herbicide tolerant crops have been commercialized.

  • Genetically engineered plants and animals capable of producing biotechnology drugs more cheaply than current methods (called pharming) are also being developed and in 2009 the FDA approved the sale of the pharmaceutical protein antithrombin produced in the milk of genetically engineered goats.

  • @SuperGreatSphinx Jesus christ are you some kind of encyclopedia. I see you do the same thing in almost EVERY Batman video. What's your purpose?

  • When i saw this i thought of nemesis and his final form.

  • Don't. Touch. My. Dog.

  • So new batman... i guess y ou don't honor the whole no killing villains off rule. I can respect that.

  • @eldon498 Jason Todd wasn't big on it either (not that he existed in this universe or if he did, he never suited up as robin), granted lazurus pits do fuck with the mind a bit

  • this clip reminds me of spiderman vs Monster-Ock in the ps1 spiderman game

  • KAAANEEEDAAAA!!!

  • Ace must have been loving biting into a juicy steak that big.

  • @Taospark surprisingly Shimeras taste remarkably like chicken.

  • he turned into a chaos spawn of tzeentch

  • I actually felt that they ended the Splicer thing too soon, imagine: with all those vials, having the recipes to those serums etc any madman could easily create a massive army of enhanced humans or even monsters like Kuvia not to mention any dimestore thug could become a serious threat, also since it opens an avenue of easy power-up any side could use it to their advantage. The Splicers have so much plot wrecking potential it's staggering, if someone else took up Kuvia's work...damn~...

  • @Gam3Junkie7 Because the whole human-into-animal thing loses steam quickly and turns rather silly after a short time. For proof, check out Curse of the Kobra parts 1 and 2. The first part was pretty good, but then the second part when we find out their ultimate goal things quickly go downhill.

  • @TheTigerwolf55 I'm not watching that again sorry but I get it but you're not seeing it the way I am: using specific strands of genetic code you could have people with even minor physical enhancements yet have like the ability to blend in like a chameleon, have very hard skin, enhanced all around abilities, an improved healing factor, flight, and most of all: easily accessible.

It wouldn't ever get old so long as the person who uses them doesn't make it predictable.

  • "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MEHHH!!!"

    Batman: WTF I don't know

  • you touch teerys dog it gets serious

  • i always remember how sataisfying the hit's were in batman beyond. stuff THWACK and POW, this was the shit XD

  • It's pronounced Kai-mera not shi-mera

  • @axeman1314 a chimera is an animal with three heads, a goat, lion, and snake I think, with the body of a lion, tail of a snake, and wings of a bird, a shimera could be something else but I might be an idiot :P

  • @axeman1314 and technically he's a naga

  • I call animal abuse on the Animal attacking an animal!

  • AKIRA brings back so many memories

  • That thing Is huge

    SOMEONE CALLS ISAAC CLARKE

  • Okay, Ace was the most badass animal sidekick in the history of animation.

  • This reminds me of that scene in Akira with the big blob thing.

  • How the hell did this scene get past the censors?

  • what is he suppose to be? before he more mutated

  • @DSkehan2004 He refered to himself as a Chimera, in this case meaning he spliced himself with traits of several different animals to create one creature.

  • anyone else notice that unlike when Bruce was batman villans die more often around terry? o.Onot much of a hero. comissioner gordan: where's Ink? Batman: over there and there and there and I think you got a little of her under your nice clean boots comiss :D

  • lol first thing came to mind when he transformed....."TETSUO!!!!!!!!!"

  • @SatelliteJAG That's funny! Though I was thinking it looked more like Resident Evil.

  • *Batglare* "Don't touch my dog."

  • I'm won't lie: When I saw this episode as a kid, Terry turning into a literal "Batman" scared the piss out of me. ._.

  • shimera? isnt it chimera? it sounds like kimera when you say it.

  • I miss toonami

  • A zerg is born.

  • Damn sploicers! Sealed Johnny in before they...

Batman? Would you kindly pick up a crowbar or somethin'?

  • He O.D.ed into Akira

  • I watched this a long time ago. So nostalgic :'D

  • Its like Akira all over again

  • @crazyman10100101 yep, this time with a Naga, in Batman

  • +

    1:26-2:56

try and find THAT in kids-shows nowadays, and good luck with that

  • i miss Batman Beyond and the older Batman-series

but i guess people nowadays think it's too much violonce and scary things so they prolly stopped airing it

    you know what?

    i say BULLCRAP!!

take it back and replace it with the pieces of shit that's on TV nowadays

  • TOO MUCH T AND G VIRUS

  • Come on... how could a DOG tip that thing?

  • anyone notice how tarry takes some serious beating/bone crushing in most of his fight scene compared to the original batman fight scenes

Which makes batman beyond all the more awesome.

  • Some people just cant handle change =)

    ~Wa wa wa~ XD

  • Batman beats up furries.

This might be the greatest episode of anything ever.

  • what the hell be a shimera?

    its chimera ppl

  • 'why not come out and fight me, man to freak-show' I love that line

  • reminds me of akria lol

  • Ah, the things we watched when we were kids...

    I freaking love that dog

  • Ah, the things we watched when we were kids

  • Shit, something straight out of Akira.

  • ace such a badass dog!!

  • Yet another lunatic cartoon geneticist falls prey to his own invention.

  • 2:03 Wow, that is one strong dog.

  • Batman gave him a little T & G virus.

  • This episode scared the shit out of me when I first saw it a long time ago

  • Press 6, the evil creature tried to immitate Ozzy Ozborne

  • If this entire sequence wasn't an obvious Akira reference I don't know what is.

  • In retrospect, maybe injecting him with more of that stuff wasn't the best idea.

  • did he die? lol if he did then terry failed to do what batman does.

  • @foodbug Terry killed a dude his first night out. Then again that IS in line with the original Batman.

  • @ShadowSonic2 yeah lol

  • @foodbug Bruce let a lot of villains die too in Batman: TAS and The New Batman Adventures. He left the Joker to die plenty of times. Batman can't directly kill, but like he says in Batman Begins, he doesn't HAVE to save them.

  • What a waste of ADAM on that guy..... That was probably an entire female kindergarten class right there.
