My first "big car" was a Sprint 2 I moved to Nitro truggies since then, but I still have my beloved Sprint 2. I just get the same old excitement when i drive it. Acoms basic radio setup 40MHz AM I think with Acoms servos, LRP Runner ESC, LRP Challenge 17T registered motor. Runs really good, grips with the stock tires. Not all HPI models can do that.
Sports a 2005 Subaru Impreza Hot Bodies body, first one I ever painted.
This car is pure nostalgia, just like the Tamiya TL-01.

Well I guess that proves that these kits can handle under a 10 turn motor! Have you stripped any gearing yet? 5 stars by the way.
Teknakill 3 years ago
yes it can handle more than that! And dosent strip any gearing yet :) ...nothing batter than belt drive!
SylvainArguin 3 years ago
Yeah, belt drive seems pretty sweet. But was mainly refering to the spur gear, which usually are known typically to go first.
I think Im gonna buy one of these kits. It will kill my TT-01 I'm sure!
Teknakill 3 years ago
nop! never strip the spur! And yes it will kill your tamiya! :))
