sir we nees a lecturer ship Strassen’s matrix multiplication – Convex hull - Tree-vertex splitting – Job sequencing with deadlines – Optimal storage on tapes
great lectures! I really enjoyed watching these too .sir we need Min-max heaps – Deaps – Leftist heaps –Binomial heaps – Fibonacci heaps – Skew heaps -
I have read this topic in two ways, one - When my teacher used to write it on paper and explain all this and other via PPT, honestly this lecture looks to be in monotone and missing flow because ppt makes it so boring.. though he knows what is he saying and is explaining nicely but this would be tough for someone who is very new to programming!
The lecture was supposed to be about stacks and ADTs...right? But for a significant part of the lecture, the students were interrupting the lecture asking about Java related concepts (exceptions and all that). I think before starting on data structure using Java, they should already have some idea about the Core Java concepts. Otherwise, instead of showing a raw video, the unnecessary parts could have been edited out. Why not use C instead..guess its in the syllabus too
@mcaforum Data structuring has nothing to do with Language in fact choice of language comes much later once data structuring techniques are clear ... but you are right students should concentrate on subject and not chosen language
Great Lecture series. But One point I noticed .From the questions which are asked by students here we can clearly guess they dont have any background in java. When you want to learn some concepts like data structures and algorithms you should have the background knowledge of a programming language.
Wonder if the student who asked " what is "final" for ? " got the clearance about it :)
Dr naveen gard uses term "Constructor Method" ,with all respect i would like to point that the there is nothing called "constructor method" in java, there are either constructors or methods, constructors are not methods and vice versa...( we have to be right in the terminology we use to explain things. any ways i am your fan and I love your lectures.
@daljeet3981 Dude, a constructor is a special method which initializes member fields of that particular instance. If none is specified than a default constructor is used. It doesn't have a return type, but must have the same name of the class{java and c#}. So Dr Garg is right.
real class at 1:12. Thank you for the classes!

-Students should learn how to program before they go on a lecture about data-structures.
-This guy is to nice, I would throw them out for such retarded questions.
popescualexandrucris 6 months ago
the guy knows java in a good theoretical way..nice 1....

this would've been much easier if those students knew at least basic stuff about programming....
