Check out Jimmy Van Zant's tribute to Ronnie on here, you won't regret it

  • Saw these guys opening for Nazareth.... whew...... what a show!! Blazing guitars, wild songs and Marshal stacks to the rafters with no seats on the floor so you could get as close as you wanted. MAN, were my ears ringing the next day.........loved every second of it!!!!

  • White Fyst still digs it!

  • Ive Met Ricky Medlocke He's With LS now and doin well. Very Kind Smart Talked after concert in Reno.

  • Do not be annoyed that you didnt get to see this band and you were born too late for good music. It just SUCKS to be you ! You are lucky that someone posted this shithead, so just shut your pie hole and be glad you are blessed to be able to listen to this !

  • How to make your comment as annoying as possible :

1 - Tell your age to make you look cool (or not)

2 - Ask people if they are listening to this in 2012

3 - Make a comparison between the like bar and a lightsaber or JB's penis

4 - Don't forget to be a thumb up whore

  • @joedalton155 Or

5 - "How to make your comment as annoying as possible:"

  • the beauty of this song is that we will still be listening to it 30-40 years down the road. The crap they have today will fade away like the dust across a long stretch of highway we will be driving down doin 120 and blasting out this song.......

  • @27wingnut Best album I EVER bought. Top to Bottom. Met the guys from Skynyrd, The Outlaws, and Danny Joe Brown from Hatchet, and seen a hundred southern rock concerts, and NOTHING beat this album, and nothing beats their Germany performance. Great post, wing nut. TY

  • They just don't produce music like this anymore. People are still writting it but it's like pulling teeth to get it out there. It's called " Marketing". Today's society just don't understand what GOOD music is all about.

  • man, you can't beat that Southern Rock sound. I took a customers '69 Impala for a ride once and he had a Southern Fried Rock 8-track in the player.....that was a long test drive.

  • i just discovered this song, its amazing.

Are there others like this one

  • @alfie0536 From just blackfoot, or that kind of style? In this genere my favourite song must be Green Grass And High Tides by Outlaws

  • @alfie0536 If you mean with kickass solos at the end? Then yep, try Green Grass and High Tides by the Outlaws, FreeBird (obviously) by Skynyrd, that and the Marshall Tucker band has a load of songs with pretty long jams such as "Ramblin", "Take the Highway", and "Running like the Wind", just to name a select few :)

  • if u like the highway song you will like my fistfull of dollars

  • :)

  • I heard this song for the first time on my way home while on the highway today, and fell in love <3

  • I'm only 110, but this song is one of the best!

  • RICKEY MEDLOCK IS THE MOST UNDERATED GUITAR PLAYER IN HISTORY.

  • I am over 50 and this song still kicks ass. Not gonna change. These guys ROCK

  • I've always wondered, is there a FULL version of this? Where there is no fade out? Obviously they wouldn't fade out live, but I really want a studio version like this.

  • Legend!

  • Alot of road trips to this 1

  • I used to listen to this song every single night with some beer by my self in 1979 now it means even more to me still listen by myself

  • @stephenmr2 totally agree this song takes me back years, still sounds fresh . A flood of emotions flood into me with the intro; guitar and his beautiful voice clean and pure. This is real music. Used to listen to this when I was young all the time now I'm nearly 50 and it still has the power to move me almost to tears.
