His first mistake was keeping it in his shorts like that. He's lucky it didn't fall through his pants and shoot himself in the foot. His second mistake was drawing it across his body. A swordsman like Jin would easily see him start to move. With that long distance Mukuro had to travel to draw, Jin got at least four steps closer. His third mistake was failing to keep the distance between them. His fourth mistake was getting stabbed by Jin. But that's the one thing about Mukuro that I like.
