notice in japanse and korean cars, when the glass shatters it ends up flying inside the car, VW's airbags pops the glass outward. Also, their seats don't bend all over the place... SO MUCH SAFER THAN ANY OTHER BRAND

The side chest airbag is basically pointless ..

Imagine a Toyota Hilux crashes like this into your car, the metal guard of the hilux will hit you right in your head and you will surely die. The side chest airbag, won't make you come out of the car without an injure, but will save your life

@05071996 Actually the side curtain airbag would do it's job of protecting your head from objects outside.
