I knew Doug through my work for about 6 years. He was always a nice person and never a bad thing out of his mouth. I remember when we found out he had cancer and my boss who had known him for years tried to contact him at the hospital. He came in maybe 3 weeks later and Doug had been fighting this crop of tumors for about 1.5-2 years. He was always positive even towards the end. And about 6 months before he died he finally bought his dream guitar which was a Fender Broadcaster.
