im sick of people gobbing off about grangetown southbank. If i was ever in a bad situation id rather some1 from them towns was at my side i know the places have a bad rep but unless you have actualy lived in the place you have no right to judge so asd they say there shut the fuck up
Typical video, the first person talking is wearing a nylon jacket, who makes nylon, ICI, the dinghy they are in is made of rubber, the masks they are wearing are made of rubber, the goggles are plastic, their wellies-rubber, the fuel for the dinghy, who do they think makes all of this the tooth fairies, wake up people, you are all guilty of buying products made of chemicals, shampoo, perfume, medicines, car interiors, clothes, look at the label on your clothing now, go on, have a look! chemicals!
Do not worry about the pollution of anything, the goverment have that worked out. Just blame it on the smokers. It is a great cover-up for industry. Do they high rates of cancer there at all?
Just another out-of-date piece of eco-propaganda. Teesside (with two 's') is changing; cleaner, stronger, better. People from the south are moving here because of the low cost of living. They can sell their one bedroom flats down in the 'Big Smoke' and buy a three bedroom house with a garden and garage with the proceeds, and know that they live just 30 minutes from the borders of the North Yorks Moors National Park. Welcome to Middlesbrough in the new millenium.
Council Shill? Is that Hartlepool for someone in authority? Nope, not me mate, I make bacon butties for a living... near Hartlepool as it happens. Yes, every town has its bad points and yes, Teesside has had more than its fair share of heavy industry over the years. Nearly every town in the developed world has access to a railway. Teesside was FIRST. Just one example of how we have been world leaders in industry.
1.why does grangetown exist in the first place? because of the factories, the workers needed somewhere to live when the plants opened.
2. How can anyone believe such a mis-informed pile of bulls***? I don't recall Grangetown being on the estuary and "he means the North Sea" says it all really.
Where do you think the plastic/metal/rubber/diesel is produced for you boat you naive tossers? I can tell you that it wasn't on an organic farm in Surrey. I'm proud of our industrial heritage that built the world. So stick your organic wooly jumpers, joss sticks and tofu up your arse.
WTF!? Middlesbrough is no were near this bad!! And i dont remember hearing or seing about a petrol leak in the news or in paper. Middlesbrough has been proven to have cleaner air than Newcastle, Billingham etc we even have cleaner air than what the QUEEN! breaths in!!. you cannot smell anything when you walk into middlesbrough so stobby1234 u are a cunt and very much doubt you have even been to middlesbrough you are just going by shit people say!
$41 million a year spent on checking pollution in rivers by the Environment agency, why didn't it list the tees as a major polluter? Because the river is clean, so clean the salmon have returned. The only thing which you might find floating on the tees is a brown south bank trout, which is common in nearly every river in the uk. Up the BORO!!!!
lol they make it sound as if you live in Teeside you are at risk of blowing up at any second and that you can't breath. Things have changed since 1990, the town of Middlesbrough is nothing like that anymore.
boro isn't actually that bad certain parts are...grove hill...longlands...easterside so sdfu and lets see a vid of you dump...i mean err hometown...X[)
Greenpeace are shit stirring cunts, if you dont like it here then fuck off and leave us alone. That prick would not be saying that if he had a job in the works.
I wish the researchers had done their home work!!
There are two S's in TEESSIDE not one.
I'm proud of where I live and over the past dozen years our area has been ransacked .
Government's have bailed out banks for Trillions of £$
While letting one of the best steel making area's in the world go to the dogs.
Now 100 odd years of steel making on Teesside is consigned to history :-(

Exactly the governments are too cowardly to blame the REAL causes they have to blame it onto silly little things like smoking and drinking!
