  • YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL, what an embarrassing twat!

  • This is ridiculous...

  • I think that if the chairperson has a button for cutting off chamber personnel, that all chamber personnel should have a button for cutting off the chairperson. Might make it a lot quieter in there. :)

  • this will end in war - i'll be the first to fight - you eurocrats think you can take on england? think again - we're just arising from a deep sleep - not soon enough - we need to examine our (british) political system carefully to enable us to understand just how it has been possible for our politicians under new labour to give away our democracy, sovereignty and freedom entirely without so much as a wimper nevermind cross examination - it's an absolute disgrace - i'm for the 1st time ashamed!?!

  • who are these freaked out women is europe run by women now what are they gonna fight for them too

  • @allenco65

    sexism?

  • Comment removed

  • @bbphnix

no it's necessary, because out of 750 people there only has to be one lunatic who can fuck it up for the rest.

that aside from whether it was appropriate in this occasion.

there is an EP rule that you cannot make personal attacks during a debate that is not about that person's qualification. I don't know if i agree with the rule, but since the rule exists, you can't blame her (the acting president) for applying that rule.

  • @omniscient232 Since he was questioning her suitability to the post, I dont see what is wrong with it. It must be hard to remain calm and follow orders when you can see them screwing with everyone on a daily basis.

  • @omniscient232 that is against the freedom of speech and he has every right to speak out against her. She has never been elected to anything in her life but she has the power to dictate part of my country's foreign policy? A foreign policy i cannot vote for. She needs to be kicked out of her position and let the people of Europe decide whether or not they want to be in this political union or not in a fair and free referendum.

  • Silence anybody who disagrees with the lack of democracy in the EU!

This is a taste of things to come, very, very worrying !

  • it would have been great if he'd marched right up there and shouted his message in her face, the fact that there is even a button to cut a speakers mic should be ringing warning bells everywhere

  • I would'nt call that a personal statement, he is just saying what everyone else is thinking. Ashton only got the job because her husband's bum chum is Tony Blair. Fuck the EU and Kathy Ashton. Now that WAS a personal statement.

  • @Truetomyself100 Can you please write down the exact words he is using at 0:43 to debate?Cause i need to reupload and i don't get that part so well. However i pretty much understand he is just exposing the whole truth about how she managed to get there as high representative.

  • Unbelievable.

  • we are descending to tirany

  • Excuse my ignorance but..... who was the girl who silenced his microphone?

  • fake democracy

  • VOTE UKIP!!!

  • Look at all of them. Disgusting cretins. Welldone UKIP for at least attempting to point out how ghastly that place is. Cold and sterile place.

  • Truth to power

  • wow this is strangely 1984ish

  • ohhh. Why did you cut the best bit when he throws his papers? That bit's great.

  • "Personal comments"?! Unbelievable! First, how is it personal to question someone's competence for a position? That is the task of any self-respecting MP. Second, how dare they silence an elected politician. The floor is where debate is held without constraint.

The EU has become a very scary thing indeed, with its megalomaniac politicians with a contempt for democracy and sovereignty of nation states.

  • Down with the non-democratic EU monster state!

  • This shows again that democracy does not exist in the EU. and btw jjintheuk u wanna like the EU we cant stop You! enjoy ur communism and dictatorship! RED!

  • wow, that´s free speech?

  • Oh, what a shame, you cut off the video before he had a complete hissy fit and started storming around the chamber ripping up pieces of paper. Rational debate it was not. By the way, it's the ArCtic, not the Artic... UKIP doesn't want to be European but is happy for its members to be American in pronunciation?!

  • @jsbaker82 Yes, but everyone should get the time they are allowed to speak, and they should be able to voice their opinions. Ok, he pronounced it wrong, maybe he should be fined for it, or get community service or something, would you like that?

You sound like a typical EU lover - it has no benefits!! The EU is a huge, oppressive government, strongly leaning towards socialism. It just isn't right for the UK.

Yeah he lost his temper a bit, but its down to his frustration at this disgusting EU

  • No, everyone should not get the time they are allowed to speak if what they are saying is irrelevant to the topic at hand and consists of personal slurs. The debate was about Arctic policy, not the credibility of Baroness Ashton and personal attacks on any person should not be tolerated - ANYWHERE.

My point about his pronunciation was merely highlighting the irony of the situation.

"A typical EU lover" - not sure what this is meant to suggest about me.

  • Moreover, yes, the EU is "huge": I don't understand why this is a problem - so are Canada and China in geographic and population terms respectively.

It is "oppressive"? Since when have your rights been affected by any EU legislation? In fact, it has created many new rights in all kinds of areas.

  • @jsbaker82 It has also created many new unnecessary laws and regulations, which are not in the interests of Britain. There are many extra regulations in the workplace which are bad for businesses and workers. Also we lose out as we have to fund other countries to compete with us, then sell us back products cheaper than UK merchants, as we have subsidised the cost of them producing it. For example, giving millions to the Spanish so they can fish competitively, and put UK workers out of a job.

  • It is "socialist". Why is this a bad thing? You sound like one of these uneducated Americans who thinks that anything that gives disadvantaged people any kind of benefit is bad and a product of communist sympathies. Anyway, the EU is a free trade organisation dedicated to creating a competitive single European economy and, therefore, a more productive capitalist system. Not sure how this is socialism!

Finally, if it isn't right for the UK, why have we done so well out of it?

  • @jsbaker82 " the EU is a free trade organisation dedicated to creating a competitive single European economy and, therefore, a more productive capitalist system." Yes I love this aspect of the EU, free trade between nations. This is why we joined in the first place, I love capitalism - and totally agree with this.

However we haven't done well out of it, we are at a trade defecit to Europe, and we also pay millions of £££ in NET contribution to the EU every year.

  • @jsbaker82 We are all affected by the EU. I have not been directly affected in any big ways, as I am a student, and am from the UK actually, I'm not an American. Yes Canada and China are big, but they aren't groups of countries with many many different types of people and languages (not on the scale of difference in the EU). And they don't have a central legislative govt, which the country hasn't had a chance to vote on. It is a stupid argument.

The drawbacks far outweigh the benefits of the EU

  • @jsbaker82 u are misguided

  • @jsbaker82

Lol fuck u pal. Sounds like an un-educated american. That's why the whole world follows us and not you right? That's why we have ruled the world for the past 100 years and not you right?

    We will nuke you.

  • You're clearly an example of an uneducated American.

  • Me thinks ,freedom of speek not wanted here. EU will fall apart.

  • This makes my blood boil, if Ashton was elected, then she wouldnt have to sit though this type of ridicule. She chose not to be so tough. Also when the left wing nutters, point out opponents deficiencys nobody cuts them off.

  • @fitnessfirstlie Yeah I know, its completely absurd! Its because the majority of it is run by socialists and communists / ex-communists. Most of them are either blind to the problems, or choosing to be ignorant to the facts for their own gain / ideal.

  • She's treating him like an errant child. What the heck is going on in "Molly's Chamber"?

  • FUCK THE EU not EUROPE

  • You can't just silence William Dartmouth by pressing a button. Why does the moderator consider that 'personal comments'? He was clearly making a point about the incompetence of the High Representative, there's nothing personal about that.

  • How dare they silence the Earl of Dartmouth!!!! We want liberty from these tyrants.

  • Only 3 EU states in artic, why does the EU need an 'Artic policy'?

  • William Dartmouth is only speaking the truth. That is not, and never will be popular in the EU Soviet. They not only want the money but absolute power too. DimLibs are amongst the worst.

Keep at it WD - you are representing me well.!

  • Uphold freedom of speech at all costs. Avoid fairness doctrines and extreme political correctness. No ones above criticism, no one!

  • The bitch that cut the mic is:

UK Liberal Democrat MEP Diana Wallis.

Remember that. Remember the party that she represents. They believe that the EU is Utopia.

    THEY are fascists.

  • All my respect for William Dartmouth and as for Ashton and the slut who cut off William, please go fuck yourselves and die in the nearest fire along with the damp rag Rhompey.

  • PLEASE PLEASE people, stay CRITICAL and please let another know about this who doesn't already. The moment we stop being CRITICAL is the moment we loose it all. THIS TYRANNY is disgusting.

What is the name of the bitch that cuts the mic and see's herself as a judge of free speech, in parliament?? WHAT IS her NAME, we need to know, Barosso was not even so stupid as to cut the mic......

  • UK Liberal Democrat MEP Diana Wallis.

    Illiberal and Undemocratic.

William Dartmouth is my MEP. He represents ME. By treating him in this way, by definition, they do it to me!

A pox on her, a pox on them.

  • Give them Hell...It is very obvious now what the EU Parliament is

  • It gets worse every day...

  • Welcome to the EU tyrany!

  • welcome to the future

  • i can't wait to emigrate from this communist authoritarian dictatorship

  • And move where? to a communist authoritarian dictatorship in Canada or in the States?

The revolution will have to be made on the same battleground as we are being attacked / The world stage.

  • Freedom of speech means you do not have the right to not be offended

Any excuse to stop someone whos anti-EU speaking common sense.

  • Damn.. Europe needs a revolution as much as America does.

  • This makes my blood boil!

  • TYRANNY!

  • The destruction of freedom of speech!!! This is what we have to look forward to in North America with the coming NAU... Keep speaking UKIP!!!

  • @flyboy1177 Keep watching/listening cuz ;)
