  • Excellent

  • George is playing some beautiful Rickenbacker there.

  • John and paul would joke and comment: They play and sing better than us! lol

  • @darthray absolutely, love those guys :)

  • I love that he's playing the same way as john XD

  • Come to Colombia!!!!

  • easily the best from hard days night

  • I actually like this version. A lot. The actual song may be my all-time favorite by the Beatles in terms of the melody and two part harmony (I'm surprised the Fab Four didn't have "John" and "Paul" singing at the same mic as this was written for) but in "A Hard Day's Night" they put it right after Ringo's bantering with the semi-effeminate, doofy floor director...a strange part to place what's a beautiful song. Here, I think I hear the audience join in the serenade this song was meant to be.

  • seeing them is like experiencing the 60's

  • these guys are better than rain these guys sound just like the beatles rain kina does but these guys are spot on

  • @slayermaster009 Rain is slightly better. Fab Four is excellent though.

  • i like their version even better than the beatles :x

  • "1964 the tribute" is the ultimate beatles tribute band

  • These guys should have been in "RAIN" on broadway!

  • these guys got the spirit, not only the music of the Beatles... really great job ! The one and only tribute band worthed attention, to me ! I wonder if Ringo and Paul got to hear about them... they would surely apreciate the care of details.

  • th Bassist Re Learnt the bass as a Lefty..........Best Tribute out there 4 sure!

  • wow! they r amazing!! XD

  • they sound exactly like them haha

  • Pretty close to the original. Great job Fabs. Rotten recording and video quality on this gig. Probably someone's cell phone.

  • I think this is not one of their best performing, but I still like them

  • Exactley as I remember them to sound, Fab four again

  • Love this song. One of my faves. I'm a huge Beatles fan from Liverpool in the UK.

  • they played that brilliantly, id love to see a Beatles cover band, or better yet Paul

  • @MarcusMcCabe this is a beatles cover band

  • @jammer562 I meant Id like to see a Beatles cover band live

obviously this isnt the real Beatles :S

  • he remember me soo much john ´s voice on the beginning

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!!!!1

  • Come to Southamerica D:

  • @tomizaku Siii, me encantaria poderlos ver. =)

  • This tune is one of the hardest vocal part that the Beatles do,i'm talking about Lennon's part,It's actually a different melody then the lead vocal, and as much as I'm a huge Fab Faux fan from NYC these guys nailed it. I don't know where these guys are out of,but I'm ilve un New York city and I would like to catch them if they are ever around here.

  • you are right, they do nail this tune, and it is a difficult harmony to say the least! They are from California and are doing a few shows in NJ this month.

I think on 12/12/09 in Morristown, NJ they are doing a gig, or were scheduled to do one! John PS--I'm going whenever they come close to me (NJ shore) because they are great, they do all of the tunes note for note, all on the money, and they even have the BeaTles mannerisms, stage similarity and check out their "A Day in the Life

  • Mr. Kite I have seen, and agreed with your posts, on other Beatles sites. I'm 56, a lawyer, and a musician. (not necessarily in that order.) Nice to e-know you. Martin

  • very nice exactly like the beatles. pauls voice and john.

  • I get to see theae guys at Beatles Fest West in October on John's birthday!!! I can't wait!! This will be my first time seeing them!!! I hope Ron sings this!!!

    Dara

  • I've seen these guys twice, and they are very, very good...and Getting Better All the Time!

Another great tribute band is/was(?) Rain. They're nearly as good as the Fab Four. Haven't seen them since 1998 or so, though; don't know if they're still performing or not.

  • This is one of the harder Beatles songs to harmonize because it changes keys after the introduction, not to mention Paul's part is a strain on most ranges. But these guys nailed the song.

  • OMG

    very good

    do they have a website?

    where are they from?

  • The Fab Four are based out of Orange County in Southern California. I believe they are playing a regular gig in Vegas right now. Surreal experience seeing them live. This is a great, great song too.

  • A pretty darn good Beatles tribute band and there are many of them. The guy who is Paul probably had to learn to play the bass guitar left handed. Good job.

  • Ya he did he was originally a righty very hard song to do live

  • @whathoney73 yes, Ardy who plays Paul did learn to play bass and guitar left handed, and every member has to know how to play every instrument the real beatles did- so often 3 or 4 different instruments.

  • if i didn't read the title i would think this was the beatles.

  • ya thats what i thought but then i thought, "why is it in color? and 8-13-07?" lol

  • best in the buisness

  • Wonderful job on this one. The heart of these songs are the vocals. Bravo.

  • listen to "all my loving" by these guys , they are brill ,, ive not heard a cover yet and thought "thats crap or cud have been done better" , stop the bitching and enjoy the music ..

  • Stevie Riks is the best. But since he is ONe Man, these guys would be the best band. But Stevie Riks actually imitates Paul, John close then anyone.

  • Cavern Beat? Rain? I've seen them on YouTube. Talk about sucking...they SUCK!

  • Really?..what Beatle cover band would you consider to be the best then?.

  • wayyy good, two fav Beatle Bands: Fab Four and Help. Best beatles tribute bands Across the universe

  • par de locos jajaja chevre yo tb soy uno de ellos jajaja

  • check out for the "Cavern Beat" they are much better than any cover bands of beatles....

  • yea i watched rain too...there kinda better

  • eh i like "Rain" better than these guys

    but thats my opinon

    check them out!

    raintribute . com

  • fair play to these lads,i think they are fine tribute act

  • These guys do a great job.

And if you wanna criticize anyone for playing too fast, criticize the real Beatles. Hell, they used to do an entire concert in 30 minutes. 25 if they were in a hurry.

  • I don`t think they come near the real Beatles. Nothing is better than the REAL thing!! John and Paul sang "If i fell" much better than these to copies!

  • I wasn't talking about the singing, but the tempo and the way The Beatles would hurry through a show just to be done with it.

  • Yeah we know all that mate. But the Beatles are gone, I would love to see the originals, wouldn't we all. But this is the next best thing, if its sung well and in tune then give the guys a break.

  • listen to the real beatles, this sounds pretty bang on to them, the harmonies are spot on same with the melody, Are you a mucisian at all?

  • Yes mate, refer to my lower posting, I think this group are pretty good, I would go and see them. No i'm not a musician but I can appreciate the intracacies of playing the Beatles.

  • I was just wondering if you thought they were bad because the song. If I fell starts out kinda flat and weird andi was wondering if thats why u thought they were outa tune. no offence meant in my earlier comment, cheers

  • they go too fast on the intro

  • I saw them 9 days prior in Palm Beach and that really completed my summer cuz that summer was the best my friend n i really kicked it!

  • this is alright, but not really that great. They can do better on other songs. the harmony doesn't blend like the beatles and is off key at points.

  • The Beatles dubbed :)

If they performed this song live, it wouldn't sound great! There is a video of the Beatles, performing Nowhere Man, and the harmony sucks, so George waves at the crowd to get them to be louder. It's in Tokyo XD

  • Not a good comparison, since the amps in those days and the sounds of the crowds in open spaces made it much more difficult then playing in pubs of today. There is literally hundreds of beatles live shows where they sound great despite of this and few where it is bad due to the sound. Not to mention a day in the beatles lives were press conferences, meetings and "busy busy busy" with travel. They were never rested.

  • Well I think that no band ever gets REST, unless they aren't touring. They could have busy personal lives y'know? But I think this sounds great, And don't get me wrong the Beatles are my favorite band, but, sometimes, they don't sound GREAT! live, at least.

This is a good shot though! Fab Four is amazing!

  • Lets agree to disagree: Hey check out Stevie Riks on Youtube, he can imitate anyone and is unbelievable, be sure to Also check out his Myspace, it is scary. Listen to his Bowie, he is a comedian, but he can imitate Paul, John, Bowie, Elvis, anyone! He does split screen on his videos.

  • would you catch me?

  • there's another tribute band called the Fab Four, in Australia, they should change their name, they have nothing to do against this, the best tribute in the world
