Because it was a procedure that you needed for example I need a labial frenulectomy the muscle is too strong and causes swelling in the lip. For the (on the tongue) lingual frenulectomy some people have to pay thousands for speech therapy it can be limiting but it has a fix.

Indeed. There is no reason to want to do this. The frenulum is sufficiently back under the tongue; no reason to cut it through. 4 years ago my frenulum was too short, and it has been cut by a professional surgeon, not by myself like you did yourself with your tongue.

thank you, the pain is not as bad as i tought. it's just a little membrane and there are no nerves in it. but don't cut to deep, just remove the frenulum. i removed my frenulum too as a preparation for a tongue splitting but i'm not longer sure about splitting my tongue^^

time will tell. maybe in the future?!
