The Mysterious Cities of Gold? I presume this was one of the educational clips they would show at the end of the cartoon in Europe? I say Europe, in the UK we didn't see these but I imagine the US had them too.

North Africa is predominantly caucasian back then and now with the history of Egyptians, Libyans and Berber. The Berber tribes were known for there red and blonde hair, then you have the guanches of the canary islands.

@VendPrekmurec Its wrong to call a very ancient mummy based on the shape of their skull, let alone their hair. The blonde/red hair that is described can be the result of chemical changes or dyeing. Skull shape is very diverse among populations. Caucasian mummies are found at the very border of China not within it.

Caucasian mummies are found in ancient egypt but that doesnt mean only caucasians inhabited egypt.

@guiltytangent Its easy to test if hair is naturally coloured or dyed, the same goes for changes over time. As for skull shape there are differences obviously but each racial group have very specific features - a Negroid will not have a Caucasoid skull, nor Mongoloid. In the modern era we can look at some mixed race people & say "Look! There are no racial types as some features are shared!" but this is bogus, these differences exist & more importantly DNA shows specific groupings.
