Did you actually try power staff lvl 2 and staff attack? And they should really have fixed the overpowered avalanche effect on him in some way or another because of size. And the fact the you have used a bug to recover hp and mp...LOL. Even if you wanted to show off all the skills you wouldn't have needed it

Finding a controller pak these days would be hard. I mean... Seriously... The N64 was 2 nintendo generations ago.

They're probably cheap though, assuming you do manage to find one.. I wish you luck. It's really a great game~ :3

@pumpaleeni i know its been a year since you posted your comment, but why dont you download an n64 emulator and download the rom for this game? then you can have it on your computer along with any other games you download. all you would need is a controller for the pc.

Actually, with this game, you won't even need a controller, since it's schematics are pretty simple and don't require use of every last button..

@VileVava i suppose you dont need one, but it would be a good investment for other games. i have emulators for genesis, nes, snes, n64, and even playstation1 along with roms for almost every game that was released on them, and for many of them, a control pad is the ideal control scheme plus it makes it feel like if you were playing them on the actual system. lol having all of that at my fingertips, along with the ability to use instant save states is like video game heaven.

BUT there are some games that NEED it... Like Fire Emblem. That game is hard!

Ever play Fire Emblem 2? It's less scripted out, and more randomized than the newer FE games. So you have to keep loading state to make the enemy miss, or land a miracle critical hit at a dire time. -nod nod-

Have you played "Quest RPG"? It's a remake for the gameboy color. It's not as good with graphics or gameplay. BUT it has more of a story to it. You can really learn alot more about the game by playing it. ^^

This fight is real easy if you spam the Barrier and Avalanche combo.

Kinda funny how the dungeon scared me more than the boss. I used to mute the TV when I got to the last dungeon because the music stays with me for a few days after playing it.

This was a great game, the game really started getting intense and fun after those haunted mines, when you got into the desert.

Mammon was nothing compared to the creatures in teh area, and Beigis was actually tough as hell.

However, anyone can beat this boss without cheating. Avalanche or Wind Cutters makes short work of him. Or you could just Power Staff/Vamp Touch him all battle.

Yes, they do need help, VileVava. To me an RPG is an RPG no matter how poorly made it is. So, suffice to say: I am a hardcore RPG gamer, but I do play platformers and other games just to take a break from RPG's.

I remember my cousin was playing this, and he ALMOST beat Mammon (He was in the middle of a Wind Slash thing), and right as it hit Mammon and killed him, the power went out...and he didn't have the game pak u need to save...needless to say, he was pissed.

This guy is really easy. Keep magic barrier up (if you have it) and spam avalanche.

I beat him the first time using the easy way (spamming avalanche) then beat him by buffing myself crazy and whacking the crap out of him :D without vamp touch :D

How can someone cheat against him?

You can dodge two of his three spells every single time.

Just sidestep flame walls, and do forward circles to avoid homing fire.(FORWARD circles)

I beat him without using Barrier this way..

except I was playing with a defense of 0, and everything Mammon cast did over 100 damage to me. I had managed to save 2 spirit lights, and used cutter3, and dodged most of his attacks.

this guy is actually dead easy.. level your water and fire to 50.. water keeps you alive with healing, and fire has vamp touch which gives you health for each melee hit
