i admit to liking gx a little more, its just to me honestly, i liked jaden in gx a little more, he was just a little more relate-able yugi is great its just he seems like a guy who'll always succeed, jaden lost alot more than yugi did. he wasn't perfect and i enjoyed it so i was a gx kid.
The original Yuugiou manga is a lot more gory and violent than the anime. I prefer the manga, not for the blood, but just because the anime kind of.. messed up in some spots (such as removing Touzoku-ou Bakura's character entirely) and had to have filler added. BUT, Yuugiou (the Japanese version) has incredible voice acting, and the soundtrack is amazing.
actully the gx series along with the 5ds were in fact made and written by a different writers. and both series are actully based off the original. thats y they dont use the same characters. just saying, u kno cuz not many ppl kno that.
Yu-Gi-Oh is an amazing anime. I grew up with the whole series. I have seen just about every episode, i only missed a few. I used to wake up every Saturday morning and turn on Kids WB to watch new episodes. Thank you for defending this epic series. GX and 5d's freakin suck. I have tried to watch each of them but i cannot stand them, especially 5d's.
