Is anyone aware that these two acted guilty of espionage from the first moment until the present. Every word out of their mouths is contrived and prepared for the public. So i dont know what they were doing out there, and especially without escorts. I agree though they were probably kidnapped, because you would have to be crazy to attempt to cross that fenceline, let alone make it without being shot at or blown up by a land mine.
The journalists were on the Sino-Korea Friendship Bridge, China side, overlooking the Yula River ( a often used area for North Koreans to flee the country). They did have escorts and a cameraman, all who managed to escape when NKorean soliders made the arrests. This bridge only allows only auto and rail traffic so it is unlikely they walked over the borderline. Also this border is relatively porous, as the governments of China and North Korea are on good terms. So, did they really cross?
