i'd like to go to japan and dress like that for one day, it looks fun, they have a style unlike anything i've ever seen anywhere else, japanese style is so fun, crazy, wild colorful and kinda cute, i love it, some of it anyways, lol

Japanese people do not dress like this. Harajuku, Tokyo is the place you will see people like this. Tokyo people on the whole are very conservative. These people are not a representation of the whole of Japan.
Japan is a real place for people who wants to dress JUST THE WAY THEY FEEL!!!!. old fashion, modern fashion or future fashion. Have a car and make it JUST THE WAY YOU LOVE IT!!!!! neons stripes etc... JAPAN FUTURE CITY ALREADY AND ALWAYS WILL BE. Japan is like 2035 compare to rest of the world.
no they aren't, they're part of cosplay and nobody wears them except in akihabara or harajuku or cosplay cafes. it's not a part of fashion. it's just cosplay.
i live about 10 minutes from harajuku. harajuku is not a fashion. it's a shopping district where cosplayers hang out on the weekends. some also go to yoyogi park and shibuya which is the next stop over.
