  • Sounds really nice and I love this model Lancer!

  • i have a 2008 lancer gts and i wanna put a flowmaster the 80 series but what would you recomend me??

  • nice ride u should check my ride out

  • did you notice any change in proformance? and would you recomend doing that to others?

  • nice exhaust. how did you do your tail lights?? spray or a cover?

  • If your gonna do it make sure you do it right, i mean why would u do that i have 08 lancer gts manual and i have the injen cai 2 high flows no resonator and 2.5 inch piping from first cat back and greddy axleback loud as hell sounds like an evo. I wouldnt just eliminate the muffler u need back pressure with your out pressure to gain hp

  • Don't do this guys, you will lost hp on low end torque specially with a not so big engine like lancer.

  • @jon2xmanuel You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Everything you just said was invalid.

  • @stEEZEnikkAA totally agree with you steeze, your video inspired me to get an axle back straight pipe for my '11 DE Lancer!!!! Loved the sound!!!!

  • @stEEZEnikkAA not really since with a a na engine youll loose the back pressure. if you get a big turbo and intake yeah it would be good

  • @coccinnelle You don't want back pressure in any performance application, N/A or Turbo. Your headers provide more then enough back pressure for you to not burn a valve in an N/A application. 2.5" straight pipe (Sounds shitty most of the time N/A) is still better the the stock exhaust and will provide a performance gain. Yes, you 'lose' low-end torque & HP but it's a trade off to gain it in the higher revs. Technically, you're just shifting your power-band.

  • It sounded like Works Exhaust.

  • how much? i live in Downers Grove. Lol we have the same car but without the wing.

  • sounds great dude

  • who did your straight pipe?

  • @turbo1918

Windy City Muffler Shop near Chicago

  • @stEEZEnikkAA i Just came through chicago this past weekend...will they do a full straight pipe, even though its illegal.

  • @turbo1918

yeah. they don't care about legality issues.. lol

  • Can you pass emission tests with a straight pipe?

  • @bllstrt6

Depends on what you replace with straight piping. In my case, no cats were touched or replaced. Will pass emissions with flying colors :)

  • More video please. Driveby. I almost like it. I was going to go with another setup till I heard the drive by video and I was slightly uneased at the sound difference between the rev video and drive by. Yours sounds deep and more roar than buzz, and that's what I'm looking for.

  • @sunadaime

It sounds pretty damn deep all around. I'll get some drive by videos when I get a chance. Maybe tomorrow. If you're looking for an aggressive sound, this might be the way to go.

  • and does the straight pipe make it sound deeper?

  • @turbo1918

    yes.

  • what exhaust is it?and na i dont even know where Des Plaines are...

  • i see you have illinois plates. i live here to we need to ride out sometime ha..no one around here has lancers..and if they do its little fucking girls and shit. not gts's though.i got some questions about your exhaust to.

  • @turbo1918 I live around the Des Plaines area. What's your question about it?
