  • Awesome, this video made my day!

  • the log disliked this

  • @skxarta The log is an agent of karma

  • i agree with you. i like the bigger/heavier knives because there more stable. the small/light ones spin to dawn fast for me. as of now my favorites are the CS tru flight and the CS perfect balance

  • SO! badass...

  • :D

  • I think it'd be more bad ass killing an intruder this way rather than pulling out your gun.

  • im getting one.

  • its BOH-WIE NOT BUOWY DUMB FUCK PRONOUNCE IT CORRECTLY

  • @BadEgg55 He's pronouncing it right and it is actually you who looks pretty dumb fuckish with your comment.

  • @nothingnessdarren lol, well, I'm not one for censorship, and I wasn't going to say to any thing; but thank you for understanding that there is more than one way to pronounce something. I've been lucky that I haven't had to deal with many trolls, so if I get one out of 100, I feel I'm doing pretty good. Happy throwing!

  • @BadEgg55 get a life, troll. its all the same thing with different accents

  • at 13" of knife, why is it 4 paces (=/-) to the target? What's the formula for that? does that also make 8 paces a good spot to throw from?

  • good shot but the distance is hardly 2 meters

  • He's good at Sticks and Stones i think

  • this dude is badass

  • So, this is what lumberjacks do when they are angry...

  • bullseye

    bullseye

    bullseye

    humiliation

  • is that chuck norris??

  • bankrupt.

  • why the hell are your "Chuck Norris" levels so high?

  • ITS CHUCK NORRIS!

  • nicely done! like the case belt too ;)

  • i was wondering what kind of steel are your knives made of? i have been wanting to make my own and thiught that those knive would make pretty dern good ones do they hold an edge?

  • @bjharless The steel is high carbon, but I don't know the exact type. I haven't sharpened them since I throw from the blade often.

  • Were you on top shot

  • @yankee2013 Lol, no, I guess my jnvite got lost in the mail.

  • CAN YOU PLEASE UPLOAD A DEMO OF 2 KNIVES BEEN THROWN INTO A TREE TRUNK TARGET 2 KNIFES THROWN AT THE SAME TIME LEFT HAND AND RIGHT REGARDS LZ

  • @lz127graf Sure; this spring I plan to do some more and I'll add that to the list.

  • what mystifies me is how do you aim a throwing knife at a target what do you look for . with a gun it as either a scope or a sight at the end of the barrel . i understand 2 knives can be thrown at once one in each hand now how successful would that be at a target. i.e wooden or straw object chunk of trunk set up as a target can you throw 2 knives regards lz

  • @lz127graf When throwing you dont have a way to aim. You just look at an item. Feel the weight in your hand and estimate how hard you need to throw it to reach a certain distance.

The actual throwing motion should be trained so that you always throw in the same line your looking at.

  • is it possiable if 3 attackers were heading forward towards you that you could hit them with a combi of axe and 2 knifes or would that be impossiable feat.? is a combi for one attacker only ? would one throw of a axe be good enough to stop a charging assaliant? or is the combi to make sure the attacker is taken out..are the throws for close combat or can the axe be used at 30 yrds distance. hitting the target.?

  • @lz127graf It's possible, but highly unlikely, to take down 3 attackers at once. people move at different speeds from different angles. But an axe thrown at one attacker, would be enough to take down one attacker, especially if hit in the abdomen or bladder. Though as I've said before, in a real world situation, I would only throw my weapon if I had no other choice. As for the 30 yrds question, I'd have to say no. With that range I believe I'd retreat to a safer envirement.

  • @lz127graf It is highly unlikely your carrying all those weapons with you and a more practical use for the axe would be to chop since it would mean your not completely defenceless after throwing everything away.

  • @Dasmaster1 yeah it's more just a fun skill, not that practical really. there may well be extreme circumstances in which it would come in handy but it's not likely any average person would be in those.

  • I would be honored if you killed me with one of those axe's :)

  • can i throw my bushman cold steel bowie knife the same way u threw ur bowie in the video

  • @GH2ful1 Yes, those bushman are tough knives.

  • How about a kabar?

  • wow i wish i had you in black ops to cover my back XD

  • wow hes good

  • the noise that the weapon's make when they stick to the wood is cool

  • Once again, Mr. Pierce, you really do seem to be the man. I've really learned alot from these videos and I can already throw my tomahawk with consistency! So for that I thank you sir!

But I do have one question though... Have you ever had to use your throwing skills in a self-defense situation? Or would you ever?

  • @codysumner You're more than welcome, glad the videos helped. As for using them in self defense, no I never have. If it came down to it, and I had absolutely no other option, then yes. However, throwing away a weapon in a fight isn't a good idea. I'd only do it as a last ditch effort.

  • wow, i guess i'm just a natural, when i throw knives that's exactly where i release it, never took no lessons or nuthin yeehaw. now i just gotta get a knife that can handle being thrown and a target that wont turn into sawdust after one throw, fiberboard sucks.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana As I've said, the set I use in the video came from RAGWEEDFORGE, and can be bought in singles or a set of three. They have held up well.

  • do you recomend the mcevoy bowie-axe?

realy nice throwing by the way!

  • @NLlockpicker First, thanks for the compliments. Secondly, if you can afford them, yes. Well made with good balance. But I'd still recommend a "beater" set like what I use in the video. Save the good blades for the good competitions. The less they're used the less chance for scarring or gouging on the blade.

  • Tops!

  • Do you recommend a particular bowie knife for throwing, besides something like the Cold Steel Perfect Balance?

That is some nice, consistent throwing.

  • @americanwillow Thanks for the compliment. I'm not a real big C.S. fan, although I have some of their stuff. I'd recommend getting a set from RAGWEEDFORGE . Thats where I got the set seen in this video.

  • @VendettaThirteen Yes, indeed they are.

  • Could you send me a link or something where I could find some products from this stephen guy? I tried looking him up and I can't find anything.

  • Nice stuff! I am a hawk lover and that one is a beauty. I don't throw them really but want to get into it.

  • If I can help in anyway, toss me a message. Thats what I'm here for.

  • That is kickass for lack of a better phrase!

  • Thanks Ken. I'm trying to catch up on the videos I promised. Stay tuned man, I got a few more good ones coming up soon!

  • Definitely looking forward to them, I'm glad you finally got a hawk from stephen, how much did that Damascus run you?

  • Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. His Damascus Rangers start at about 245 and goes up from there depending on the pattern and so on.

  • Nice, the hammer bit hawk I got from him was a bit ehh, but I've seen a lot of his work and he does a great job on those things.
