@dmackler58 honestly i don't see anything wrong with the lyrics, it's beautiful and if you're going through difficult period in your life you'll understand, it really gives strength and helps, i say it because i've been through many things, and still it's your choice to trust or not to but i pray for your soul

@dmackler58 Sorry, but that's a TV show for new talents. That's a contest for talented kids and they just chosen a song to sing to the Lord. This lyrycs in portuguese was wroten by a 16 y.o girl (Gabriela Rocha, who won the same contest in 2007), not by a profissional composer who make tons of gospel musics plenty of heresy and "new doctrines".

BTW: That's was an improvisation, friend. The host asked them to sing something togheter. They said him "we'll try" and you can see the result.

@spasenaotgreha Yeah I can tell the lyrics are right. Im sure its not 100% accurate but no translation ever is. I think the other person was thinking that the kids were singing the original lyrics by Leonard Cohen, but I'm pretty sure they would change the lyrics for a Gospel/Worship Performance.

@Carijam2011 I'm pretty sure these are the correct lyrics for this song, i heard the original english version and they are completely different, but this arrangements lyrics were changed and the english subtitles are correct for what they are singing.
